Ode to XXX

O darling, art thou an incarnation of Aphrodite?
Born to tease and torment me tonight!

Art thou an angel I can’t resist hold near?
‘Cause thy beauty is radiant and thy soul so clear

I yearn to seal thy lips with my own,
Even as we chat endlessly over ether phone

I beg to kneel before thee,
To taste the sweetness that gushes for me

In the shadows of a soft candle light,
I must wrap thee in my arms tight

And unite our loins surrendering to our desire
To do otherwise would make me quite a liar

Together, my love, let’s reach for the pinnacle of pleasure,
O no, don’t stop now before we erupt beyond measure!

To offer thee the seeds of my passion,
That would indeed be the ultimate fashion!

If I die in thy arms, I wouldn’t have far to travel,
‘Cause I would be already in heaven, one might marvel!

O darling, art thou an incarnation of Aphrodite?
Please say you are, so I can see you every night

May I borrow your Ode to read to Aphrodite? You have captured the feelings of several of her lovers. We can all read it to her.

Keats also could have been writing of the Lady of the Ode, except for the "sans Merci" part.

A few verses from
La Belle Dame sans Merci
John Keats (1795–1821).

I met a lady in the meads,
 Full beautiful—a faery’s child,
Her hair was long, her foot was light,
 And her eyes were wild.

I made a garland for her head,
 And bracelets too, and fragrant zone;
She look’d at me as she did love,
 And made sweet moan.

I set her on my pacing steed,
And nothing else saw all day long,
For sidelong would she bend, and sing
 A faery’s song.

QUIZ for today:
1. What actually is "my pacing steed" which the writer sets her upon...and all day long!

2. Explain the actual meaning of her "fragrant zone"

3. No need to explain "sweet moan."

Here is a painting of the La Belle Dame(and kk027, or is it nhted, or ???).

You know as well as I that would elicit a rather large yawn VERY quickly and probably followed by a low growl and a grin and then................. well, I'm not going to say it here!! :-)
