You only have to give out your information one time. There are ladies from all over the country on both sites, so it's great for guys like me, who travel. You don't have to keep asking ladies for references. The more ladies you see, the more referrals you get, and if you're a gentleman, clean and respectful, the ladies can give you higher ratings. (recommended, highly recommended, etc.)

Preferred411 has an annual membership fee of $69, one of my very favorite numbers. Date-Check is a one time, lifetime membership, and I think it costs $129.

I personally don't use them because of the cost, and who says their data warehouses are secure? I understand giving out my info multiple times increases risk, but once my data is in a huge target that has lots to offer an attacker, I'm at risk as well. Haven't seen you in a while...

May need to fix that.

For me, Date-Check has been great.  Coupled with TER whitelisting, it has made verification pretty smooth.

It takes the pain out of the screening process, it's quick, easy and convenient!

I have used them both for years.

These two sites makes my life a lot easier to verify and then screen new friends.  

I love both sites and it's worth the price to join gentlemen!

Date Check

I was advised by a wonderful provider to use this site and what a wonderful tool it has become and inexpensive.

I use Date-Check and like others who have posted, have experienced relatively painless screening.  I even credit Date-Check for helping me land my first date, which I was trying for weeks as a newbie.

I guess the biggest reason you may be running into hobbyists who are not verified on one or more of these services is simply that the hobbyists are not aware of them.  

I think a small number worry about the cost, but at 125 USD for a lifetime membership, it's a steal given how much time is saved.
