Either one is OK with me.  I have two regular ladies that I do dinner dates with. One prefers to eat after the sex and the other prefers dinner and a cocktail or two before.

Whatever situation is the most relaxing for the lady is fine with me.

Whatever floats your boat.....

....with my ATF we have played then ate, ate then played...etc...etc...

It would be appropriate to confer with your date to see if she does have a preference.  I could see some ladies not wanting to play before so they do not spoil their hair, makeup, etc.....

Before is best because both food and intelligent conversation are sensual.   I have been taken out after an appointment and felt that the conversation was a little awkward-similar to waking up in a frat house on Sunday morning hehe.  I have one friend who likes to take a break in the middle, and I try to eat light so I stay peppy, but he is a foodie and orders too much. Most of his gusto is gone when we return to his place.

 There is no experience like fine dining* and being seated at a comfy and private table within a romantic atmosphere.  I love to seduce with the eyes and lips; and enjoy teasing with comments about eating oysters, and perhaps feed him a bite of breadstick or crudité.  A few sips of wine (I am a very light drinker)and talk a little business or politics-Mmmm, this is always a great ice breaker.  Before you know it we're discussing our travels and my time spent in Scandinavia and his walk through the Red Light District of Amsterdam. (Every topic we discuss  seems to end with sexual overtones)  I enjoy telling him about his sensual attributes be it his mind, facial features or mannerisms by the end of the meal.  Everyone is sexy in their own way.

 If the gentleman has not made reservations and the restaurant is busy I often suggest we grab a cozy seat in the bar.  At many fine dining restaurants the same menu is available in the lounge area, which is often more intimate than sitting in the dining room.

 The total (Kate) experience always starts with verbal and non verbal interaction; therefore dinner before a date is ideal (I don’t charge for my time during dinner).  There is nothing hotter then discreetly playing footsies under the table.  It certainly helps a man forget the worries of the day when a manicured foot slides up his pant leg and the trouser trout gets perky!
