As I said four days ago before some grammar police style nitpicker found fault with it:
"I would bet good money that when this little weasel is caught (within a matter of days) that he turns out to be some sheltered suburban frat boy experiencing some kind of perceived white bread money "crisis" - like his parents cut down on his allowance and he had to cut his lattes down to one a day. "
Maybe it was a tuition hike that got him: http://www.bu.edu/today/campus-life/2009/03/13/2009-2010-tuition-rises-3-75-percent
I'd say a kid who goes to a school that's 50,000 a year and yet goes out and murders and robs defenseless women is, yes, a little spoiled suburban punk experiencing some perceived money "crisis" because he wouldn't know a real crisis if it bit him in the ass, he's so deeply steeped in the kind of entitlement mentality that so pervades the spoiled suburbs these days. I know I don't have 50,000 a year for school, nor did my folks. Some people have to actually work for a living.
Just saw ch7 4pm news that police have identified this guy. They didn't say who he is or anything yet.
Hope they nab him soon!!

Fox25 is saying someone was arrested in the Westin case
I can't believe someone actually called him "smart" on the boards at some point.
If he was after money, he was stupid because he got hardly any. Oh, you know he thought there would be a LOT more than $800 in that first girl's room, just like the imbecile who robs a convenience store doesn't realize they do safe drops all night long and keep very little money in the register. A felony for a few hundred bucks. Garden variety stupid. And with all the pics of that blackberry glued to his hands and them saying he's 23, I'm still betting his initial contact with these women was rushed and unprofessional, and he would have been as easy as pie to screen out just by choosing to see coherent, mature daytime clients instead of young boys who sound like young stupid boys who think in text and stay up half the night.
If he was after the thrill, even dumber, because there is nothing more monotonous than waking up day after day after day in prison, for all or most of the rest of your life. Except for, of course, the occasional raping and shanking... Otherwise dreadfully monotonous.
I'm still willing to bet on him being some spoiled college kid with a strong streak of entitlement and perceived "hardship", not the desperate junkie some boards have speculated him to be. Certainly doesn't dress like a junkie.
Looks like they nabbed him. Thank goodness.
Is it me or is the guy wearing two different hats in the holiday inn photos? He's certainly wearing the same if not a very similar outfit in the pics from the marriott cameras.
It's so obvious he's fake texting to keep his head down too.
I'm glad this killer is such an idiot!
I am at a lost for words right now! But I am very happy they got him. It was only a matter of time. The cops had some very strong info given to them!
Thank God!!!

of all ironies he probably was going around selling how much he looked forward to care for patients, then cold blooded kills an innocent young woman.
Gotta feel sorry for his fiancee and family and happy for society, the medical community and thousands of potential future patients
Marriott Murder Victim Identified (4/16/2009)
A 22-year-old Boston University medical student has been arrested in connection with a woman's murder and an attempted robbery at two luxury hotels in downtown Boston.
Police identified the suspect as Philip Markoff of Quincy. Boston police Commissioner Ed Davis and Suffolk County District Attorney Dan Conley made the announcement Monday night.
Conley said Markoff was arrested around 4 p.m. Monday and is being charged with murder and unlawful possession of a firearm in the shooting death of 26-year-old Julissa Brisman last Tuesday at the Marriott Copley hotel in downtown Boston.
He is also being charged with armed robbery and kidnapping in the robbery of a woman the week before at Boston's Westin hotel.
Earlier today, Warwick police released a series of photos showing what they say may be the Craigslist killer in a Rhode Island hotel last week.
Police have not charged Markoff in that incident.
WHO IS PHILIP MARKOFF?
Boston University officials confirmed Markoff is a second year medical student at Boston University. Officials say when they learned of the charges against him, he was suspended.
Davis said Markoff has no previous criminal record.
He was engaged to be married this summer. The ceremony was to be held in August on the Jersey Shore.
Markoff lives in a Quincy apartment where investigators were waiting Monday night for a search warrant.
Neighbors told WBZ's Christina Hager they were stunned at the news of Markoff being charged with murder.
Neighbor Mike Dye said he had invited Markoff over for drinks.
"Didn't think anything of it until all the sudden, they said, 'Phil,' and then I remember kind of what the pictures look like a little bit in my head and where he lived, and I just put everything together," Dye said.
"He seemed like a totally normal guy to us," he added.
WHAT LED POLICE TO AN ARREST
Boston police told WBZ-TV earlier Monday that they knew who the suspect was but that they hadn't caught up with him yet.
They found Markoff around 4 p.m. driving in Walpole, police say, and he was arrested.
Police say the public's facination with the case and the widely released photos, including new ones released earlier in the day, drew more than 150 tips.
Conley said the use of computer crime experts was also critical to the investigation. He said those experts helped connect IP addresses to physical locations.
Calling the case "compelling," Conley said there were several pieces of evidence that linked Markoff to the two cases.
"We would never rely on one bit of evidence," he said.
Markoff will be arraigned Tuesday morning.
THE ROLE OF CRAIGSLIST
Brisman advertised massage services on Craigslist and had a massage table set up in the room where she was shot Tuesday.
Craigslist services were also involved in an armed robbery at the Westin Copley Place April 10.
The woman attacked Thursday in Warwick, R.I., advertised lap dances on Craigslist.
She claims she was held at gunpoint before her husband came into the room and the attacker ran off.
MORE VICTIMS COULD BE OUT THERE
Calling Markoff a predator, Conley asked anyone who has been a victim of robbery after placing an ad on Craigslist to please come forward.
Victims can call 401.468.4200 or Boston police at 617.343.4470 or the CrimeStoppers tip line at 1.800.494.TIPS.
