I watched the chairman of the MBTA in a news conference today. She talked in circles and hinted that they need more money... This is what we get for having the most liberal state in the nation. The big dig, the Mass pike, and the MBTA. That's their legacy.
The goal is 70% of the trains running tomorrow. Tall, self propelled railroad cars will get through stuff that comparatively short 3rd rail dependent things won't. Both Republican and Democratic governors have shortchanged the T, its neither liberal nor conservative, its just short sighted. I've been dreaming about the horizontal hully gully while shoveling and blowing snow. Maybe that explains the weird looks I get. Please be careful out there. Its a new dimension in dangerous.
