Earlier today I posted information about a girl in response to another hobbyist inquiry approx two weeks ago. Today's post was pulled as a "shill post" probably because it read like a shill and had the girl's ad linked. Oh well, live and learn.

It should be allowed in last week's Provider Friday, which I understand is an "open shill " thread. Will try and see what happens.

I've had a few posts pulled.

No Idea I was breaking any rules.. someone spent a ton of time coming up with a lot of byzantine rules.. I go back & read the rules.. but some are fairly arcane..

Not sure it is moderated, but response deleting is over the top.

I had my post to LC's morning coffee pulled.

The note said the thread was deleted. It was not.

My post was "terrific pic...e"

Why in the world would that be deleted??????

I don't think it closely moderated

I think the problem is who is the moderator on TER side. You are not going to get the same person doing the moderating all the time. So they never ready get to know posters and what they post. I have noticed this with my post, in Chicago and Boston, my post go right up but in DC they take some time to get up. I have even had them pulled. After a email or two they get put back up. I noticed that of you post in the early am they seem to go right up.

Foody this my be the reason why you post got pulled, one mod may have seen it as a shill post and pulled it where another mod may have not seen it that way.

It's a a crap shoot with who the mod is. I think the local mod were a good idea.

Just my thought on the matter.

Yes it happens, if the mod thinks it shill, they pull it. Sometime it goes back up, sometimes it doesn't.
I'm not going to start a email fight with a mod over a photo. Sometimes the fight is not worth it.

I was just checking my board posts and even after doing my weekly post for years, I still get them pulled every once in a while. Like I said it who is the Mod that day. Figure by now they would be use to seeing my posts and let them go throw without be checked. I have made sure that I follow the rules and even check with them of what I can and can not post.

It's their board, so they get to make the rules and apply the rules as they see fit
