uh doh

Fantastic web site...and I agree with PD.

Great Job

These are intended to be constructive, but you can take them for what they are worth.

1. The "About Me" page:

You should drop the "mailto" link (i.e. your email address). Every spambot address grabber in the universe is going to grab your email addy and use it for spam.

Also, and it is just MY preference so feel free to take it or leave it ... but this page doesn't really tell me anything about you. Nothing at all about your personality, education, likes, dislikes, etc.

2. Gifts page.
Generally, this is a page where you list gifts that you'd like a guy to bring you. Could be anything from a pencil to a spaceship. Some ladies use this space to say something like "I prefer gifts from the heart based on what we learn of each other in our time together" or some such thing. You are simply restating a special here.

3. Blog page
The blog page is seriously out of date. This could give the misimpression that you are not active. IMO, it should either be updated -- however slightly -- or removed.

4. Calendar
Shows no availability. Combined with the outdated blog, it gives the impression you aren't active.

5. Contact Page
It states: "This is my Contact page. Please type here your information and I will contact you back ASAP.  If you think i will see you without proper screening your wrong.  Im not young, I am not dumb, and I am not desperate."

It is a bad policy to state that you are not dumb in a sentence immediately following a paragraph of strangely constructed sentences, bad capitalization and incorrect words.

I know as an absolute matter of fact that you are NOT dumb. I would rephrase it. For example:

"This is my Contact page. Please fill out the form below with the required information and I will get in touch with you ASAP. If you think I will see you without proper screening, you're wrong. I am neither young, dumb nor desperate."

6. FAQ page

The answers read as though they were written by a person for whom English is not her native language. Which is fine, if that is the case. I would slightly rephrase the answers as follows:

"Of course I travel to cape over the bridge." should be: "Of course I travel to the Cape over the bridge."

I am not a lawyer, but I would remove the reference to sex altogether in the next one.

"When it comes to sex I only discriminate by age if you are over 40 and have references than you should have no issues." should be: "When it comes to clients, I only discriminate by age. If you are over 40 and have good references, then you should have no issues."

Good luck!

there you are... I have been looking for Felix Unger for years.  We have a job for you at HARVARD or YALE.   Tell me do you use those seat covers in public restrooms?

But outright stating that she is offering sex is a real no-no. I'm not being obsessive-compulsive about that.

Stating that you aren't dumb in a sentence immediately following using "your" where "you're" should have been used ... is inviting unwarranted chuckles. Because I know for a fact that this woman is very bright.

And putting your email address right out there in a mailto link is just inviting spam from hell. It's "roll your own website 101."

Just being helpful, not anal retentive.

And I'm far too politically incorrect for a job in academia.

The way I read it, I think she was saying she was not discriminating on the basis of sex (will see men or women), based on the rest of the line (...do discriminate on age, over 40)...  not offering sex.
But it could have been said a lot more clearly without the opportunity for being misconstrued.

I don't mind the criticism.  I have to say I appreciate that you did it with your username and not an alias.  I actually threw the web site together this morning from old web site as I was having review issues with TER. If you didn't point these things out I probably wouldn't even look again at the site.   Honestly, if it were my choice I would not have a web site.  You pointed out a few things that I definitely will correct some grammatical and others just contradictory.  Then there are other things that I will not change because it is who I am.(I am sure you won't lose sleep over this decision.  AOL has great spam filters so my email will stay. If you missed it,  it is [email protected]  I have been a member of TER since 2002.  I have no problem discussing sex as I am an adult.  If you knew me you would know that some guys get verified very easily and there are others who never get verified.  I guess what I am saying is if I am going to go in a room with you, you can rest assure I trust your references which means you can talk sex and have sex till the cows come home.  As for travel over the bridge, that was a joke for a "dude on the cape" that has been banned from TER. I think it was during the thirsty years I am sure if you search TER you will find it.  I will make corrections over the weekend.  Thanks again for your imput.
Bru

I know you are a very fine lady, darned sharp, and among the best in your field.

Bruschi Girl the hell with the critisicism (Hope I spelled that correctly) your new site is what you are all about..... a provider that always delivers a super time.

I am almost certain I have maybe an error or phrase not correct. I am always opened to improving areas although why put this on a public forum and not ask for the option to email privately? I find it a little self seeking to look a certain way in public.

I am also politically incorrect although try to be socially correct.

Anyways, have a good weekend everyone.
