Just thinking out loud..  

I had a date not work out last night.. no big deal, right? Right. It was a little bit of a special appointment because she's my strapon girl and I don't get to see her very often. She's awesome and we get along super well. No biggie, it was last minute and she couldn't accommodate.  

Thing is.. I'm still in the mood. In this case, I have a little bit of a weird fetish and I'm still in the mood for it.. but finding a last minute helper for this is... tricky.  

So, aside from posting up on this board, which seems like it's not quite the point of this particular board, why don't we have a location where a client can post up and be all "i'm here and looking for this" and have a way for the providers to contact them with a "hey.. I can help out"

Think Uber for dates!  

"Hi I'm a 38 y/o white guy who needs a girl to to strap me tonight, who's available"

 
and then someone who had set up another date or maybe that's not normally her thing decides that "tonight it's her thing" and she can reply. Or even not last minute.. just.. planning for a Wednedsay.  

In this case it'd be helpful instead of wading through the Backpage fake ads or trying to find a provider last minute through TER (which has worked out once for me in the past, but I feel guilty monopolizing a post just for myself).  

I dunno..just tossing that out there.

... that the "In Search Of" board be regionalized? In other words, you're asking for a "Boston Hobbyist Ads" board to accompany the "Boston Provider Ads" board"?  

Would posting hobbyists be willing to pay for the service?

There's probably already something like that out there, possibly even multiple sites/apps. The problem though is that not enough people know/use them to make it worthwhile. Just like there are dozens of escort ads sites, but only a handful get enough traffic to be worthwhile to use.

I think that's basically it.

I'm sure there are plenty of providers that go through this board looking for requests from people locally that match their services or profile. Otherwise I don't see why the regional boards don't work for this.  I mean the only fetish I can think of that might not work on this regional board are you guys looking for trannies. I hardly ever see posts by trannies on the ad board. I see providers respond very quickly to requests. I mean look at the recent post by someone trying to find someone to do an office visit.

I suppose you're right. I guess I just always felt weird, like I was monopolizing a board post just for myself..
