at one of the local shelters to some of those who are quite a lot less fortunate than I am. I did it last year, and found that there are people out there who know what Thanksgiving is really supposed to be about.

I too will be serving dinner at a shelter, have for about 10yrs. Started with my daughter in high school she had to do it for school and she is shy so I joined her. Now we still do it each yr. Both boys are also teens and helping out at the shelter thanksgiving and xmas.
Really shows you how thankful others are for less than what we have and it could be any of us really. Feels good in the end as well. We all need to give back.
