TER has made some sound marketing and advertising decisions that include Playboy, Howard Stern Show, and other appropriate media. Whether you are a Howard fan, or not, you have to agree his core listener market of horny, relatively young adult males makes good business sense for TER to reach.  You may also notice TER is now truly global!

on Howard's show.  (Are Head Shops still around?  Dating myself)

I know, TER isn't actually breaking the law, but it can be viewed as a "facilitator", and come under more scrutiny by LE.

The "moral majority" is, for the most part, innocently unaware of this site, and thus it doesn't attract their ire!  If you become too noticeable, then its likely to attract attention that isn't beneficial, IMHO.

I think a more discreet approach is warranted.

You don't want every Tom, dick, & Harry viewing TER, or kids for matter, who probably watch the Howard Stern show in substantial numbers, since his sense of humor has always been stuck at the junior high level.

If you listen carefully to their ad on Howard Stern, they made sure to categorize the ladies as "entertainers" and not "escorts."  A very safe way to advertise!

It's a perfect target market:  men with the disposable incomes to pay for Sirius (and maybe even Howard TV on pay-per-view) probably wouldn't mind having an "escape" from life for a few bucks more, and need help to look for "entertainers" other than Craigslist.

Kudos to TER for smart marketing decisions.
