Since this was not your ad post he had every right to respond with his concerns regarding the posts mentioning specific cities. That's the way a message board community works. Actually you where not the one being indiscreet it was the OP.
Honestly, there is no reason for any post to mention a city or town. That's what the phone or private email is for. The hobbying climate has changed. It's time for people to wise-up.
seeing as though LE in different towns are now actively working together and sharing information and considering the proximity of each of those locations to each other, yeah its a little indiscreet.
Maybe you don't agree with the alias snapping on you but...the locals probably know the climate and how things work here better than you do.

Three towns is pretty discreet. What is that, almost two dozen hotels, I'd guess. How far are we to take this paranoia? LE is not sitting around waiting for one of three towns to be mentioned on TER when the picking is so easy on CL.
