I will say, I’m based in Chicago and tour other large cities, and I was pretty gobsmacked by the hotel rates for Boston and Cambridge. I ended up deciding to use points and make a little vacation out of it for my tour, but if I were doing “strictly business” I would have likely needed to charge a higher touring rate to justify staying in Boston proper.

Downtown Boston is just too $$$ for many women.

You might have different rates and availability, especially in September. The rates are *especially* high in May as lots of the world- class colleges and universities have their graduation ceremonies spread throughout the month. If you're in Boston, parking often comes with a surcharge, but that's less true in Cambridge.

Waltham/Burlington are in the heart of industrial Boston area and are probably the most popular with escorts but also pretty boring to stay at. Boston is much more fun on your time off but parking is murder. Cambridge is better but not by much. Quincy/Braintree is similar to Waltham/Burlington but on the other, significantly less industrial, part of Boston.

I'm there to work ,not into site seening, so as for much not do  t a big deal for me , seems just about when I want to go see the sites I get half way there and have to trun back for appt's  coming in.  I might be in town over the weekend so may be good time to go site seening.
Not much fun by yourself tho (lol).  
I have been looking at hotels in some of the spot's , and I always think about parking for my guest I like to make things easy as can be as why I stay out of downtown cities.

Most are not but there are some, in my experience, that do require keycards. The majority of them however do not & that, in addition to the more easy access to the highways & parking situation make them more attractive, at least for me.

In fact, unless she’s a unicorn & someone I’ve been dying to see, I avoid Boston proper like the plague & pretty much only see girls in the suburbs. Woburn, Burlington, Waltham, & Newton are where I primarily play. I’ll even think twice about going south of the city into Braintree etc. since I’m north of the city. There are plenty of guys that live in, near or are willing to go into the city so you should be fine either way. Have fun!
