Had scheduled and appointment with an agency for today.  The appointment was canceled today because the girl decided she did not want to work today.

I can understand that, just that I rearranged my schedule to see her to get canceled. Also was told wont be able to have another appointment for at least a month.  This was her last day, I guess.

SO has anyone had this happen and what, if anything should I do?  Have never had this happen to me.

Thanks for your help...

I understand the frustration but really there's nothing else to do but move on to the next candidate...

Life happens.  A death in the family.  A medical emergency.  I've had this happen several times.  Embolism. Hysterectomy. Conjestive heart failure.  It leads to a personal connection if you connect.  More than just pretend intimacy.  Maybe it's me, more likely milady.

It happens all the time. The agencies are really at the mercy of the girls and are often left holding the bag when the girls change their minds about working and are left to produce excuses to the guys who had appointments. There are pluses and minuses to using an agency or an indy, and one of the realities of using an agency is the girl is more likely to cancel last minute.

I was told by a very wise provider one day.  Don't plan things just let things happen.  It works.  When we plan we just get dissapointed when things do not go according to plan.  Simply move on and try again

Unfortunately this happens sometimes, not much to do but move on. I have had this happen the last two years in a row on my birthday with indys.

Aha, I considered posting the same question. My, admittedly small, sample of appointments set -- all with well-reviewed independents -- resulted in meetings only 30% of the time. I would think it's rather higher for veterans. But clearly if one is obsessively exact, it's better to set meetings with tax accountants or real estate agents.

Hi Bobby,

Sorry to hear of your experience today.  Rearranging your schedule and then having your appointment canceled is frustrating.

I have had incidents like this happen a few times, even with reputable agencies.  A good agency will distinguish itself by trying to make the customer happy, perhaps by giving a discount on the next appointment.  I would say that if you like the girl and want to see her again, then try to work things out amicably with the agency.

My personal opinion is that it is never worth getting into a pissing match, and so if the agency does not respond in a way that satisfies you, you have the option of taking your business elsewhere, unless you want to give them another chance when the girl comes back into the area.

Good luck,

DJ

Several years ago my Agency ATF decided to go home a day early, causing them to have to cancel my appointment that I had dreaming of all week.  Was I pissed? Not at the time, but when she came back after a brief retirement from the biz I had no interest in seeing her.

It sucks but there really isn't anything you can do other than choose another lady and decide if you want to see the first gal when she is available again.

Agencies, at least the good ones, will never make a lady work when she doesn't want to so it's not really fair to hold it against the agency. Of course you can always ask who else is available.

You like most of us have been dreaming about this appointment.  Anticipating openning the door. Seeing her live for the first time.  Replaying it over and over in your head.

Then slam. She can't make it.

Well, just think, you now have an openning for one of your other favorites that you have been dying to meet.  Give her a call.  She might have a cancellation and your up next.

and has happened to all of us, the question could also be asked what type of session would you have if she was there in body but not in spirit?

Personally, the best times have been when my date was really excited to see me and ready to have fun. If the provider didn't feel up to it that day, as much as it would suck, I'd prefer to wait catch her on a good day, rather than just going through the motions (or no motions)

Maybe when you do get to see her, she'll make it that much better.

I couldn't resist. . . sorry.
I just wanted to add that she was pretty honest. . more than I could say for most drastic excuses. She simply wasn't in the mood. . not that it is right or wrong, but honest.

Your first sentence says the agency told you the girl cancelled because she did not want to work that day.

The second sentence contradicts itself as well as the first sentence.

Which is it...you can not have another appointment for a month....with the agency(that does not make any sense) or with a girl who did not want to work that day as the first sentence stated or QUIT like the second sentence stated.

I have never had a lady, not want to work...then tell me a month and the it was her last day.

Not possible this all happened in the span of one phone call or email to cancel.

Girls have a bad day....agencies will often see if they can get you another girl that day if you so choose unless the lady is traveling into your city.

If the lady quit....no agency is going to tell you you can't see a lady for a month...unless you did something wrong and they are brushing you off or you referrals are not in order.

Maybe you were just flustered when you wrote this post...but it is very confusing.
