don't worry about it, it's just "the man" trying to see who's banging hookers.

I popped on the boston board and got a big 'ole warning from Google Chrome that:

"The website at www.theeroticreview.com contains elements from the site www.yahoosite.ru, which appears to host malware – software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer."

Didn't pop up with the main page or reviews page, just the boards.

Getting it with safari as well. Running a scan on my computer to make sure it isn't me.

I just got that myself; I will stop visiting TER until this is resolved.

just replaced my harddrive based on infi it was caused by malware

I'm on a MAC and I've gotten this warning about 3-4 times in the few days. I simply clicked out and re-opened. I agree, I haven't seen this before last week.
Anyone has a good answer?

And, a few months ago, after a program update to a very well-known and highly thought of anti-virus program (AVG), AVG decided that iTunes was a virus, quarantined it and would not allow access. I had to uninstall and reinstall iTunes (including a minor hack of the registry)in order to get itunes and IE to work properly again.

At the same time, AVG declared war on (at lease my copy of IE) and would not allow IE access to the Internet either.

My point, don't believe everything the program tells you, unless there is othe symptomology. Make sure your virus/malware/spyware definitions are up-to-date and watch for unexplainable happenings on the computer.

Other that that, it's a crapshoot.
