Do you clients browse eros at all? And for providers, do you think an eros ad is worth it these days?

When I first started hobbying I always read EROS.  Did my research and found good reason to be sceptical, like a girl advertising in 5 different cities the same weekend.  That was my experience  some years ago.  I understand EROS has cleaned up by doing verifications now.

I'm happy reading my local TER Ad board.  Plenty of great girls to keep me busy.  As close to 100% reliability as you can find in hobbyland...the girls that have P411 that is.  That's my $0.02 from a guy that's been around every block in Boston's hobbyland.

but after the bust, does the phrase "10 foot pole" resonate at all with you? It does for me. SW/Twitter is outstanding, enjoy it while it's still around. And the women are open to interaction as long as you're not at troll or a time-waster

I forgot Eros still existed. I used to check it out before I even knew TER or P411 even existed.

Is there a good Twitter feed for Boston hobbying? I follow some lovely local ladies on Twitter now, but wonder if there is a feed that handles many?
On that note, it would be nice if, here, on TER, there was a list of lovelies that have Twitter.
I'd welcome info on local Twitter feeds.

by Ho me la nd  Se cu ri  ty and otger agencies.
I've only looked at it a couple times, but there is suspicion that they have the name of escorts and possibly others that have visited it.

My personal inclination is to stay away, as there's plenty of other places to see the sites.

I don't claim to know all the details or if what I'm saying is 100% accurate, but even 50% accuracy is enough to make me be careful. Buyer beware?

The best way to accomplish this would be to build your own “list” within Twitter. The lists feature is a wonderful and too-often overlooked tool which is so helpful for categorizing users from certain cities, or whatever grouping you choose. If you are a traveler you can do cities, or perhaps you like variety, you can create lists for dommes, blondes, spinners, touring girls, girls with a good sense of humor, etc.

The only downfall is you have to add them one by one. There isn’t a way that I’ve found to effectively search within the accounts you follow by city or keyword :(

But once you have your lists set, you can click on your list and see only the tweets from users in that list.

Before all that stuff went down in November, I hadn’t posted an ad there in 4+ months & maintained steady business. Now I’m really apprehensive to ever advertise with them again. Most months I don’t feel I get my value out of it here in Boston.

TER seems to be my biggest funnel of business, with P4 second (make sure to log in frequently or buy a top 10 spot, and Twitter third (when I make a point to be active there & engage with the community). I am considering trying a new one soon in addition to TER. Currently my Google Analytics lists “social media” as 20% of the traffic to my website. I’m not sure how much of that actually converts to business, (could be other providers who are curious, or just window shoppers) but it’s not something to overlook.

I heard that Cityvibe was regionally specific, mostly west coast, but you've had luck in the northeast? That/s good to know!

I gave up Eros a few years ago and haven't looked back.  It sounds like jumping ship instead of giving them my info was a great idea.

Welcome to Boston!

I graciously passed but logged in recently for a picture I needed and my account wasn't deleted not sure what that was about.

There were a few other mixup's I had with Eros that I didn't like before they were busted such as asking for me to renew a week or two before and had offered early pay discount then when day came, the person from Eros that called me, no one could find him to give me the discount, it was his day off that day (go figure) so I passed.

Today: TER, P411 & Twitter are perfect for me!

Thank you Ms. Thai for the great info on this thread I learned a ton about lists I didn't know about.

Amalita
