well, because they can or at least think they can. It does seem to be going that way and I have to admit to being curious if it is working out.

Reason for the extra money can be any of the following.

1. Prices for the ladies company is what she wants to charge and what the market is willing to pay.

2. When they are traveling ladies, remember they have to add in the price for airfare, hotels, meals, and any other things they may need.

Charging more money does not always mean you get better service.

There are many variables that determine what a provider charges and they are not all performance or demand related.  Many providers have other jobs and prefer to stay low volume and use this as a supplement, not a primary source of income.  They prefer to make only what they need to achieve their goals.

Every lady has a right to set their rates where she wants and adjust them when she wants!  

Higher rates do not assure a quality session, nor do they preclude one.  I have paid five figures for a weekend with Playmates, PS's, Pets, "B" list actresses and I have also paid $250 to be with very special, amazing women.  My current ATF is low volume, yet low $ and we have amazing times together.  I basically TOFTT with her and I am glad I did, although it is way out of character for me.

So to answer your question, there is no single answer.  Every provider experience is different.  Don't let price be your only criteria.  Do your research, read the boards and go to M&G's.  When you click with a special lady, keep perspective and ride the wave.  And above all, remember they are not chattel.  We review a very personal part of them here and need to keep that in mind.

Being a cheap bastard, paying more than I think that the experience is worth would be disappointing
to me no matter what the lady brought to the table.

Everyone has a value that they place on the experience.  To overpay for the experience means the person will be dissatisfied by the experience no matter how good the lady is during the session.

I firmly believe that each lady is entitled to charge whatever she feels her companionship is worth, and likewise, each hobbyist can choose to either pay the amount or see someone else.

Early on, I came to the personal conclusion that the more you paid a lady had no impact on the experience.  

There are clearly intangibles that each ladies bring to a session, but they are not tied to how much she charges.

As an older hobbyist, I believe that first & foremost know yourself.  You need to understand what the tangibles and intangibles are that give your the greatest likelihood of an enjoyable session.

For me, paying more than $250 raises the almost certainty of my dissatisfaction with the lady notwithstanding the chemistry and performance.  

The dissatisfaction is tied to my personal value system and expectation and not so much tied to the lady performance.

So bottomline, Alias99, if $300 is what your maximum value is for companionship, I would not pay more due to the certainty that you will be preordained to be dissatisfied with the experience.

Half an hour after I leave, I can barely remember anything about an appointment so I'm not interested in testing the high waters. There is a certain sameness.

There are stellar women of every description working of $300 or less. Paying more is crazy unless your loaded. A rich friend of mine who I was bitching out for spending $1000 on a provider said to me "does it matter if I don't miss $300 or $1000? Unless you can have that attitude don't participate in driving up prices. BTW, my ATF was all I could ever want in a provider and was $300.

I have paid $400 for an hour and had a good time but never better than what I get from my ATF for $300 an hour.  That being said, what if my ATF raised her price to $400 an hour tomorrow? Would I pay it? Sure I would.  Is she a different woman than she was when she was $100 cheaper? No, of course not. A gals rate is whatever she feels she is worth. Her rate is no guarantee that you will have a good time with her.
