Make a difference for you on the date?

I notice it when a gal goes to the effort to make the experience terrific, and it can make a good experience very good, and a very good experience great.

That said, I've had some sessions in a 2 star that were better than some five star experiences, because ultimately it is the gal herself that is the main factor in how well the experience goes.

To use the metaphor of a restaurant:  It's all well and good to have plush seats, silver, crystal, soft lighting, and music, but if the food sucks, I'm not going back.

On the other hand, a great meal in a shabby run down diner is something I'd go back to again.

LOL agreed but the incall does make a difference imo as if you would have seen the great bcd from the 2 star in a 5 star wouldn't it have been better?

GFE can be dangerous on so many levels, you do not know if the girl has anything,  
In  some cases she could have all types of viral diseases that an than be spread to your mouth..  
think about that the next time you ask for GFE .. just saying..

The hotel need not be too fancy; equivalent to like a "Holiday Inn" is fine.
More important is the ambiance, just like you mentioned.
Often, I will bring the wine and she supplies the candles, music, etc.
The lady and the "mood" are more important to me than the #stars the hotel has.  

I'm there specifically for the lady I want to be with. Any moderate hotel is more than adequate.
It is what goes on inside the room between the two of us is what matters most.

.....or something along those lines and I'm roughly around 250hr (at the moment but every girl deserves a raise lol). I still manage to stay in something around a 3* or better usually and without the cost of my incall digging into my bottom line (granted in the Boston area I stick to the 'burbs vs downtown also).    
TBH i'd go as far to say seeing someone in a crappy motel and she charged 350hr or more would be kind of "suspicious" or that she's cheap/a little too frugal.    
I know guys LIKE to say they don't really care about the  hotel but come ooonnnnnnn. lol

I happen to use Holiday Inn like  as a minimum standard.

.......and figure the first guy covers the room (lol) and everyone else is her profit. *shrugs*

I always think of Felix Unger on the Odd Couple.
