(yes I am sure most of my posts fall under that category and this is one of them)

This is not a rant, but more of somethings I have observed over the recent months.

Things I have noticed on the boards:

It seems that some ladies are posting they are of mixed race, now I have noticed this by one lady is posting she is Asian, OK, but she looks about as Asian as Samuel L Jackson does.

We have some ladies that say they are college students and some go to Ivy League colleges.
OK you have been a college student for 8 years, face it you are the world’s worst college student and
You need to give it up.

Now some ladies say that they are going to Ivy League Schools, but they are traveling for months at a
time and are all over the country or they are available all the time.  Now how can you be going to an Ivy League School, when you are never at the school??

Also we have some winnings ads on the board to, one of my favorites is this one “best $1,000 investment available” Now she has no reviews (granted she asked not to write any) also no one has said anything about you on the board.  You are looking for 1,000 for 1.5 to 2.5 hours, now which one is it?
You screening policy makes a Homeland security check look like a walk in the park. (Yes I know ladies have every right to ask for as much info has they want to feel safe). But there is a point when you are asking way too much info, and I know who is going to see that info, that is very scary.

UTR what does this mean, Now to the best of my knowledge; it means “Under the Radar”. This means you keep a low profile; you don’t post ads, get reviews or anything like that.  But for some unknown reason people just don’t get this. They post ads and post replies on TER. Not really keeping a low profile now are they. One lady was UTR for a while but all of a sudden started posting ads again, if you were so worried about getting in trouble after the big bus last year, why the hell would you be post ads again.
(yes I know why..$$$)

Another one is a lady who posted a few months ago she was going UTR. Now she had her webpage removed, but she did not have her TER profile removed, she just changed her name. Got a new webpage, but used the same photos from before, so how is she UTR?? What changing you name is going to get everyone to think that you are someone else?? In the past if you changed you name, it means you want to hide something.

I know that providers do take what is call “Artistic license” which is fine, but come on ladies make a little effect to make it believable.

Just my 2 cents.

You mean everything here isn't 100% true?   I'm shocked.  Just shocked

...always true, no surprise.

Well traveled...stayed at lots of hotels.

Masters degree...from Bates University.

Highly reviewed...not sure what lowly reviewed would be.

My favorite is when I read in a review, "she sucks or fucks like a pro." All I think is dumb ass, she IS a pro!

And it's true-- I've been inactive this whole semester and will be until early may because I've been too busy with my work (40 hours a week of work for a fellowship, and finishing up my MA thesis).

*but*, grad programs are generally more flexible since you're doing so much independent research, at least in humanities. I was able to provide regularly last year because most grad level classes meet once a week for a few hours; are 4 credits instead of 3, meaning you only take 3 classes on average a semester; and sometimes your "class" is an independent study where you just read 2 books a week and meet monthly with your advisor. I was able to have a semester of only Tuesday classes (even though 9 hours of lecture was a lot for one day), and have more time for play :)

not everyone who says they're a student is, obviously, but some of us find ways to make it work!

Sometimes I'll get a good laugh from some reviews because the reviewer had some awkward encounter

I'll probably be in school past 30! I am hoping to get my undergrad and PhD in two subjects. It may seem odd, but especially for us budget-conscious folks- it can talk a while to get through!
