This is an FYI for any potential new clients to the service in the subject line.  It is 100% SCAM.  Payment whether partial or full is made in advance via Fedex....then nothing.

Send cash by Fedex???  Seriously?  For a "not (really) legal" activity?

It sounds like a way of thinning out the gene pool.

Do I understand this correctly, they have you pay via FEDEX, then schedule an appointment? I've never heard of that one before. Anyone who might have called them owes you a thanks for the heads up.

My first reaction would be WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND..  But then again, probably someone has.

Particularly odd (if that's the right word for it) as Fedex doesn't accept cash, so you would have to use a credit card or check to ship the package.  

I wonder if they also have $100,000,000 in a bank account in Nigeria, that belonged to their ex-husband the prime minister, which they need someone to help process?

A little research would have saved you a lot of grief. A quick google search on their contact email shows that they are pulling this scam in multiple locations.

Folks in the hobby, and other various and sundry shady endeavors, have been using fed ex to "ship" cash for years. Obviously you can't insure it and if it gets lost you are screwed but the odds are in your favor since their track record is very good.  

It's not the smartest way to do business but then again sending a deposit to an "agency" with no pedigree other than a website with pictures of a bunch of naked but un-reviewed women on it isn't all that bright either.

Does the FedEx address match the DNS Registration address? Also, it looks like the same person owns several other sites, as well. I don't have access to the list, but maybe some computer savvy reader with the tools can post it, if it's relevant. (Thanks in advance.)

If you had used USPS Express Mail instead of FedEx I think that the federal charge would be mail fraud which probably carries far more severe penalties than hobbying. The question is, are the Feds interested in busting places that use the mail to scam hobbyists or just those that actually provide reliable services?

I believe the USPS investigates mail fraud itself.

You can always anonymously inform Fed Ex of the scam.....
