You've gotta do what feels right for you.  If you're scared to death of the consequences then it sounds like you're ready to make some changes.  Try to think about it as rationally as possible.  Make a list of what your reasons are for going UTR now or not.  If you decide to not go UTR what changes can you make to feel safer? If you decide to go UTR now what are the costs and benefits of that?  And remember no decision is irreversible as long as it's in your hands to make that decision.  Unfortunately for Chloe and Red a lot of things are now out of their control and you can bet your ass that they wish they had done some things differently.

If you watch the news tomorrow night, you may see at story about that bust last month.
It may in the newspapers on Thursday to.

Tomorrow one of the ladies has her probable cause hearing.
I hope that the hearing goes well for her.

I am posting as a heads up, and to stop anyone from freaking out and posting any wild speculations.
Yes this is not a pleasant post, but I think it needs to be said.

I have some compassion for the ladies at hand but you must realize risk and reward.

She profited from what she  chose  to do. It was a calculated risk. Nobody expects to get caught.

But consider this was her choice and her consequence.

It's no different if a hobbyist got caught or a STD is it worth it to you?

Imho

I agree with you, when someone's gets into an ILLIGAL business, they should hope for the best but expect the worst.

If your doing this business full time and for a long time, you bound to get arrested at least once. eventually.

Isn't it only a misdemeanor though?

A friend of mine got arrested in Woburn MA and she didn't get into much trouble,,,,went to court and paid a 250$ fee and walked out.

Its a big deal.. federal charges

Not a misdemeanor at all. Trafficking money laundering and a sex trade change and I'm sure pandering. Those are all felonies and she's face over 20 years. I bet she gets 2-5 years . But she will something for sure.

No way is that a misdemeanor. Plus do you think the IRS isn't going to demand back taxes, etc.? Maybe a street hooker or random girl on Backpage might get a small penalty. But even then with the internet try making it go away. She was moving women across state lines too so she's screwed.

The IRS will never chase her . When you get time for money laundering they don't need IRS attachments because you have to pay restitution and fines etc. She has a lot more to worry about then the IRS.

The case being referenced above were two ladies alleged to be running an escort service, so the Feds were involved, as well as state, and they were charged with every conceivable criminal offense, to make some noise, and garner some media attention.

Sort of like the IRS, when they publicize their criminal cases from January to April 15, just to scare everyone into complying with the tax laws, and report their income and file their tax returns.

You control your own destiny.

Working for an agency you're at the mercy of your keeper.

I never used the service and never use a service at the risk of the obvious.

I feel mush worse for the poor guy that walks into a hotel sting. That sucks!!! But !!!

Ahhhh a sting!!!

Far better shot of the DA going after 10-12 girls at once then a indi.

What is the obvious?

It might have seemed like a stupid question. Yet there are a couple of agencies here that seem to have been around for a long time- decades- and seem to be doing ok.

It's good until it's not good. It's like not paying the IRS and it's nice you have all the money until Uncle Sam comes knocking. One of the biggest agencies closed last year. A few have shut down as well last year.

Many if us knew them and considered them friends... we wish them well...

What a waste of resources, when there are outdoor SWs facing hypothermia. Don't get me started. Everyone donate to SWOP.

I feel sorry for everyone that is feeling the strain and stress of the LE and that's why I think we all need to play our cards right.  Life and the choices we make are a serious gamble in everything we do.  I'm scared to death of the consequences that are sure to come eventually when you don't walk away when you're up!  UTR for some is the best way to go and the right card to play when you have too much to lose.  If you don't know the players at the gambling table....don't play!  You will loose!  Is it all worth it in the long run?  That's a question we all have to ask ourselves with all the news we hear.  What's your feedback on when to become UTR for safety reasons?

            Luv Queeny

Nada as far as I could find. Hearing for cause probably don't generate the ratings/interest the initial arrest does.

The escort who called the police said she made about $3,000 per week. Thats about 156K per year... but tax free so like earning over 200K. My question is this... how common is that and is it more or less than you thought escorts were making?

bookshe627 reads

I think providers makes $3-5k a week . Indi providers of course that work 4-6 days a week. If they charge $400 X 3 dates a day plus tips the math is easy..

But they all make great money but NONE are financially set. Easy come easy go!!! I am interested to see how they pay for a defense team.

Where does the money typically go? I kind of suspected this. Same with strippers. Someone told me that even strippers had pimps or boyfriends taking much of their money away. I don't think of high end escorts as having this scenario but I may well be completely wrong.

1 tiny robe and 1 pair of panties $130
Weekly mani/pedi $100
Bi-weekly haircut $60
Eyelashes $150
Juvederm  $600
Restilyn Silk $700
Botox $450
4-5 star hotels $200-$500
+airfare, uber, meals, tips et cetera

Eyelashes $150??  You're kidding
Weekly manicures/pedicures are another thing I don't understand. I guess if it makes you feel better that's fine but trust me, I'm not looking at your nails.  As long as your hands don't feel like sandpaper I'm good.
What are Juvederm and Restilyn Silk??  Never heard of either of them. Sounds pricey
Botox, ok, but don't overdo it... just my 2 cents
Sexy panties...by all means!!!! 😘😘

Oh yes and that's on the low end for lashes. Click on the link below. You will see how expensive it can be. Restilyn and juvederm are fillers. So, if you want fuller lips or your eye troughs to look more youthful...you would get filler. The botox is just for the minor lines that piss me off. Those sexy panties are pictured on my blog. Anyway, it's all pricey. But, I have wonderful gentleman friends whom I choose to keep happy.
As for the nails if they were looking haggard, you'd notice. 😉

Thank you for educating me!  I didn't realize how expensive it is to look so good... all I do is shave, take a shower, and trim my nails to stay irresistably handsome.  Price tag, about $1.  Oh and the occasional haircut, about $25... I go to a salon lol
As for your nails, I guess I'd notice... eventually ;)  It's not the first thing I'm looking at  xoxoxo
