[could be the large funeral for the Boston Firefighters.  GOD BLESS them and their families.

Is there some event or conference going on that i should be aware of ?

The Convention Authority schedule lists a bunch of smaller events but the biggie is  

National Science Teachers Association Annual Convention 2014, Estimated attendees: 20,000  

I'll bet that Jada could teach them a thing or two

Why the room rate in Boston is so high.. Good reasons forbeing sold out.. I spoke to a friend of mine that owns a restaurant in Kenmore Sq.. He says he has been slammed..

Firemen from around the region are in town for the memorials and funerals.  I had to extend my stay and ended up having to find another hotel too.
