I am not sure if you missed the pun/double entendre.

Yes it played on Cambridge's politically correct reputation, but more so on his name Mac and PC.

Cambridge is very well known as a PC town.

As a Cantabridgean myself, I can't let that pass by without comment.  Yes, we are known as a PC town, but we are also known as a very liberal town, in all kinds of ways, not just political.  Live and let live, respect for personal freedom, and being open to all kinds of different people are hallmarks of this city as well.  Look around, Mac, and you'll find what you want here.
