So readership and as a result ad revenue is way down... in large part due to the ease of getting free internet porn. But do they seriously think that this is going to help?!?!?! NO WAY!!!
honestly though, haven't those airbrushed nudes sucked for decades? i'm 33 and a big fan of the magazine but i only ever really liked the pictures from the 50s through the very early 80s. once hairspray set in it was bye bye boner.
but one of my favorite books ever, flashman at the charge, was serialized in playboy first. so many great writers got their start. it's amazing just how great of an editor hugh hefner is/was.
