Here in New England, I've seen more fake pics in the last few years, countless. I've seen nice girls with average reviews and average girls with astounding reviews.  
But, I guess the joke's on me and girls like me, who don't photoshop our waists thinner, our hair longer, our butts rounder. Us girls who don't write our own reviews. The girls who don't launch a tirade of emails to TER when we get a less then stellar rating (from a reviewer who never wrote a review before and never wrote a review after).
 
I thought, well... you don't want those clients anyway. The ones who don't do their research, the ones taken in by self written reviews.  
 
But I was wrong.  
 
The clients do want the fake pics, the photoshoped pics, the self written reviews,  because those are the girls you book.  
 
 I have given so much to the work I do. Dressing up for clients who cancel at the last minute because their first pick came through. Or the most fucked variation of that scenario,  making it obvious you don't think I'm shit by not confirming until the last minute because someone with better pics might be available, or acting like it's too much trouble to get screened or book your own hotel when I'm driving 2 hours to see you.  
 
  In the past 6 weeks. I have had 3 clients total. That's it. Just 3. One who booked me repeatedly while he was in town, and the other two: one I saw for a lower rate, who couldn't even be bothered to do the most minimal screening even though he had been emailing me for weeks, and the other a con artist who got his ass handed to him.
I guess, even though I'm pretty, and a fuck-bot,  I need photoshopped pics  an fake reviews to get clients to book me. WTF?
 I just got a review saying:
 "My regular provider was busy, but I was really horny, so I tried so and so (meaning me)". Making it sound like he had to make an excuse for why he actually booked me. Yeah, thanks bud.   Reviews like that clue clientele into how they should act with me, and explain why in the past 6 weeks almost every single one of the clients who have booked me, have canceled....because I am the 3 or 4th runner up...to other chicks, who in reality, aren't any better than I am.
 
News flash: The reviews are a joke.  
 
Let me tell you about the emails I've gotten asking me for $$$$ in exchange for so many great reviews.
 
What really sucks though....
The pedestrian reviewers- they only write what the reviewer before him wrote.
It's all about the reviewer trying to maintain their reviewer "rep". Writing as if they are embarrassed to admit they had a great time with me, because the last reviewer only gave me a 7 performance.  
 
Whats really fucked, is that in reality, I know I am a super sexy chick, with a pretty face and a banging body and a real appreciation for the wok I do. Every client I have is stoked while I'm with them. I never have a bad appointment. I'm a true professional and even when they are jerks, I take their money and give them every cent worth of bounce they can take.  
I have toys. I have outfits. I have tits like nobody's business. I have soft curves, legs with muscles. I have strong shoulders, awesome collar bones. Pretty hair.  
 I see the approval in mens eyes when I go out everyday.  I've met many of the "top" providers who live and roam through New England, and many of them are okay at best.  
Performance? There are men in this world who I have ruined with my sexuality.
But here, in 2014, TER reviewers can't be bothered to make me sound like anything other than just a plain Jane, which is so ridiculous.  
How can you compare my "performance" in a $200 half hour appointment, an appointment where you wouldn't even afford me the slightest courtesy like screening, so I had to book a motel room to see you, at my expense, because I didn't know if you were a cop, or a robber or a killer--- How can you review me compared to a provider who you booked for $600?   Really? I'd like to see how that 600 an hour chick would have treated you for 200. Not as good as I did, that's for sure.
So, WTF?
  Anyway. I'm done with integrity. At least in New England. You obviously don't deserve it.  To every guy who needs to be told his fuck is great by another reviewer in order to appreciate her, I'd like to ask you to consider thinking for yourself. And to the guy who gets fucked over by fake pics and rip offs of every variety...you deserve it, because you demanded it.  
And to the girls posting fake photos and retouching your double chins and back fat, and making mad loot while doing it, good for you. Clap. Clap.

You are frustrated with good reason, but the disappointment of seeing the photo shopped girls with all the back fat as you described is also a bummer to hobbiest...despite your view we deserve it because the reviews are fake and we follow along without any originality, and we fear giving you a great review some of us try to give honest reviews honest non pandering opinions and don't care if we get chastised by the p/c police on the board.
Case in point:
Aldo Antonio is a brilliant photographer ... I really mean that because Houdini himself could not put lipstick on a pig better. Not calling the ladies pigs here (so relax  all you zaftig providers)but to see the lady in a candid is way more accurate and truthful than a glam shot that looks nothing like the provider.

My problem is I respected the clients, their hard earned money. I felt complimented that they liked me and I wanted to take them away with me to candytown for the few minutes we were together. You know, great service for a fair price, but fuck me, I'm a loser who doesn't post glamor shots, and who is too affordable for good reviews.
Yeah, I mentioned 3 clients in 6 weeks. It goes deeper than anything you mentioned.
Besides: Atf, how does he know when he's never even met me?

I know you are angry. I don't get angry, I try to calmly think of why things are the way they are. I also haven't worked for the last 2 months. I have stellar reviews and over 200 of them. I'm in the top 10 escorts of New England. I'm sweet, nice, intelligent, kind, and do my best to make sure someone is happy. I even cook for my clients! So why don't I have a line down the block to see me? Well, thats just how New England is - "It is what it is", is the saying here. It's also been the holidays the last couple months. New England men are mostly married with families and are very much into New England traditions, like big holiday parties, family gatherings, spending lots of money on gifts for the family, preparing their cars for winter driving, insulating houses, hiring a snow plow or maybe buying their own tractor with a plow. They buy snow tires, and houses here mostly use oil to heat and oil is expensive. I understand why they're not calling. I'm not angry at all. I'm a little worried, since I put all my resources into moving east and I also have to get oil to heat my house, pay rent, get snow tires... It's not about photos, reviews, reputations.... If it was, then I'd be super busy. No, it's just the holidays and the New England way of life. I chose to move to new england to be closer to Europe, NYC, Vermont, and I'm blessed to now have a big old house with a fireplace that's tucked in the hills with historical and vast land around me. I love New England. If business doesn't pick up, I'll not get angry, I'll just try to find a second job or maybe go on tour. I see everything as a sign. If destiny seems to be closing the door for me working here, then I'll focus on my other talents or tour a different location. Talents I neglected when I spent much time working as a top escort. I'm lucky to have found a couple of good friends who have helped me get through the last two months. For that I'm grateful. So gratitude, love, appreciation, and faith for me being right where I'm to be as the universe has destined at this time of my life... we all have slow times slow days a slow month you are not alone in that. that's when you step it up.

Now the screening problem I say pass on those too difficult to screen they aren't worth your time there are plenty who are and who willingly comply.

I don't know who you are so its difficult t help figure out what needs tweeking. Just know you aren't alone in trying to find your nitch in this market. we have all been there.
If you are fairly new and don't have a lot of reviews I can tell you I agree this market doesn't like to test the waters of less reviewed gals, that's when you either get a well reviewed dbls partner or a well known screener to represent you. The guys will take the plunge and she wont put up with their shenanigans.

Aldo is a great photog and hes not too expensive. Yes some are over photoshopped but I have shot with Aldo and I use the proofs they are not photoshopped.
I also shoot all the time, well not since I broke my ankle but usually every other week or so I shoot new pics they are candids but they are pretty good.
Megan Love is coming to Boston this month shes also quite talented as a photographer and you may wanna shoot with her.

this is a difficult market to break into at times you need a stepping stone, a screener dbls partner or agency that can back you and get you out there.

...at one of the hardest times in my life last year when absolutely everything changed overnight.

Two things:  1) In business, even the best service providers must constantly market themselves to remain competitive. Personally, I'm very good at what I do and I'm established, but there are still lulls from time to time because I get so busy working IN my business that I forget to work ON my business. When things aren't working, it's time to reevaluate your marketing plan. 2) As a guy who has booked a provider only to find that her actual appearance was not even close to her photos, I can tell you it's definitely NOT what we want. No one likes to be faked out.  It seems to me that the best Provider websites would have a combo of glam shots and candids. For my money, I usually find the candid shots to be WAY hotter.  

Also, it's very important to totally review your business from the customer's POV. This should be done on a regular basis.o Are you easy to contact?  Are your screening procedures up to standards for your safety, yet still easy enough to navigate?  Are you quickly responsive to inquiries?  How are your facilities/locations?  Clean?  Neat?  Tasteful?  How do you present yourself?  This is the hardest stuff to do in any business, to really objectively assess strengths and weaknesses, but it is critical to achieving success.

Stay consistent, communicate effectively and clearly- via email and text and calls - be on time, leave home at home, be smart, SCREEN, buy the book Ally mentioned. Get a screener/booker like Nicole mentioned...

Why should a girl suffer because she doesnt have pro pics, when the girls who do have pro pics photoshop them until they might as well be someone else?
I post real pics, but they arent pro, so the clients treat me like shit. Isn't the logical thing to use some glossy photos that do look like your "type"?  
Too bad tineye can't show what photos looked like before they were photoshopped.

Cameo is right on.. Anger is a negative .. finding positives out of anger gives you power to change things.. I am constantly amazed at the negativity expressed by some on these boards toward others who are looking for help, support, information.. take your pick.. the universe has a plan and sometimes getting there results in pain.. stick to your convictions and follow through that will always produce good results..  
Yours is a business of self promotion & that's not always easy.. sometimes it is easier to hide and to pretend that all is well.. The "ostrich syndrome" rarely works and it's better to get out there and push. I frequently see the same providers on every bulletin board, forum and advertising site.. as a consumer, I start thinking that perhaps I might give them a call.. and this business is also a business of personal connections.. I went into it with the fervor of a teenager finally able to sleep with every desirable woman he saw.. Now I am very content with a good connection to a person that I click with, and that is good.. I am in the business of building a practice... I see many people but work with just a few and they pay the bills and I enjoy working with them.. your's is the same.. a hard road but rewards follow.. stay strong

Everyone has their ups and downs in this industry. And everyone has their slow weeks. Perhaps you should look at what sorts of investments you're putting into yourself as a business.

I was given that by a mentor about a year ago and try to share it whenever appropriate. Also the majority of the Ted talks that I have seen have been well worth the 20-30 minutes invested in them. And a great many are on netflix now as well! It's a great way to spend time between appointments or as you're putting your makeup on, ladies, as it's not something you need to have your eyes on to absorb!

I never really thought about it before, but communication with clients is a problem for me, I'm frozen trying to figure out what to say and how to say it. Ironically, I'm eloquent in my personal life, but as a provider, I can't make headway trying to figure out what the client wants. I'm not a marketing guru. I'm an escort.

In fact they are easier then people we meet day to day. That's something I've always loved about this job. How you meet a stranger, get naked together, bond, and then communicate afterwards and hopefully you see them again, and get updates on how life is going for them. The more they see you, the more they trust you, and you can be there for them when they need you. While some "in the hobby" purposely keep a delusion, such as getting angry about a tiny bit of baby fat on a working girl, or a scar on her shoulder... Yes, sometimes people in our little hobby world can act shallow, but all that is just surface and not really what is happening. What is real, is that you cant stop an energy exchange when you're with another person in this way. The money exchange is for keeping things balanced and everyone feels respected and safe. But exchanging energy is something done with or without money. There is a transparency in this that's refreshing. How many people do you have to lie to in the real world, or keep secrets from. When you're naked, you are both vulnerable yet fearless. We make a friend a true friend for an hour or two. Sometimes forever. Really, you must approach your job with an attitude of love. If you don't look at everyone you meet and who contacts you with eyes of love, then this business will make you turn into a very cold jaded women. From what I've seen. New girls have a hard time with it at first because they must face all ethics, deal with people on a level that never was seen before... a transparent level where people are showing their darkest or most beautiful complicated selves. If you come from a place of love, being responsible for your good energy, you'll always be taken care of by the universe. I really do speak from experience. I always have found that staying in an attitude of love and submission to my destiny, things always work out for the best. Sometimes its not how we want or expect, that is being mature when you can just learn to wait patiently for blessings to come to you at the exact time you need. How could we not be blessed when we are making so many other people happy, not judging them, loving them unconditionally? If we let ourselves always look with eyes of love, then its impossible for the universe to NOT take care of us.

I have a feeling that you project some of what you describe here onto your clients. It's usually pretty hard to hide your true attitude for prolonged periods of time and if you really feel this way I have little doubt that somehow it shows. If that's the case I'm not surprised you're having issues with attracting and especially keeping regular clientele. Men may see providers for sex but it's almost always "for sex too".  
It is often also (among other things) in order to escape the routine and negativity in their lives. Hobbyist would rarely return to a provider who right from the start somehow projects what you project here. If a hobbyist is already a regular he probably will react compassionately and continue seeing a provider who is just happen to be having a bad day or going through bad period in her life but if he feels some sort of a "bad day" first time he sees you chances are he won't be back. If he reviews here chances are he'll also let others know about it too.  

and honestly I had ask someone else she rang no bells with me. Not that Im anyone important but Ive been here a while and I pay attention to who comes and goes in this market I really have no refs for her.
So that tells me she hasn't made much of an impression with me and probably very few others.
She needs to look at that.
But its not Angel and I doubt anyone will guess who she is. shes not one of the usual players.

Her marketing is all wrong.
Even the brand spanking new locals make a splash bigger that tells you something.

Stop guessing who she might be. she shows bad form and name dropping is not fair to do to the other ladies. Its most likely NOT who you think it is.

When a reviewer starts by saying "My regular girl/atf was busy, so I tried so and so..."  
If the new girl is real good, the reviewer usually follows with..." and I am glad she was busy, because this girl is a keeper!" Have you considered that the reviews might actually be right on the money? Based on your rant I'd say the reviewers and you have a very different view of what is going on.
Maybe you need to look at what you are doing and change it up - but probably not in the direction you have suggested.

My take-away from this  series is that it's too bad Craigslist was eliminated by the Thought Police, it would have served a useful purpose for people like Integrity, who is probably a nice, attractive person just trying to get by, but nowadays has to compete not only with air-brushed scammers and phony reviewers, but is also getting advice and encouragement from people with glamorous websites who charge $700 bucks a visit; how is a nice girl who just wants to make a little from the assets supposed to compete with frauds and also with people who are really committed to marketing a "criminal" activity (and very, very good at their jobs)?

While I appreciate the logic in your words, I must tell you that the frustration you saw in my post is do to marketing circumstances and not how I feel about my clients in the slightest.
    I was feeling overwhelmed because I knew I was not reaching my client base.  
I didn't know what I was doing wrong, and because I couldn't identify what was wrong, my various attempts were in vain.

craigslist is not her issue.  If you wanna talk about sites like CL theres backpage
her problem is more consistency im guessing.
shes been in business for 3 plus yrs if she has not gained a nice list of regs by now shes doing something wrong no matter where she runs an ad.
the ad venue plays a very small part in this.

Before that I would visit CT, but I wasn't based here. As far as regulars go, yes, I have wonderful clients that do repeat, but it isn't unusual for a client to go 6 weeks or maybe more in between.
Thanks for your comment, and I do think there is something to be said for consistency, but I would appreciate it if you did not try to make it seem like my services are suspect, because they are not.

a lot of things can effect consistency. you could be a wonderful companion ands for some reason you are inconsistent with your time or availability or what ever.

you need to find what clicks for you.
AND treat this like a business when it comes to marketing advertising and targeting your client base.
In the bedroom you could knock their socks off BUT you have to get them into the bedroom first. So you need to market better. that's all im saying. I don't know you so I w

Heres the key in any business and this one is no different on this aspect...theres an ass for every seat.
theres a client for every age weight body type style look color hair color tall short and on and on...you need to define what is YOUR WOW Factor.
what is it about you that turns heads peaks interest and makes your phone ring.
