Since I am going to be in Boston most of next week for a conference, I emailed some agencies and indies last week.  I have more than 5 refs in date-check.  To be clear, I was looking to meet 3 different spinners on 3 successive nights for 2hours each outcall to my hotel room in the waterfront in Boston.

This was what happened:

After Dark:
 - initial email intro and request for who was available.
 - Holly (I assume?) replied with a list of suggested girls
 - I replied and thanked her and asked for donation amounts since website says to ask
 - communication goes dark

Indie I met at M&G:
 - exchanged email weeks ago and agreed to meet
 - no reply to touching base to confirm arrangements

Flirt:
 - no reply to intro email

Now.... what do I do... wait patiently and hope my Tuesday evening is not a bust ?  Try to find someone else and then have to explain to the previous emailed people they did not respond and I blinked ?  Or wait till tuesday and then try to find a same-day appointment for someone that I am attracted to ?

*sigh

Have you checked the Ads?

Also, Date-Check and P411 have been good for me in Boston.

Backpage is not bad here as long as they have TER reviews.

Call the phone numbers. Sometimes my emails landed in their spam folder, so I called and asked them to check their spam folders... Agencies are more responsive, some indies are informal.

Pretty much what he said.  Lots of women around, but you need to check for reviews.  Using the TER plug-in makes it easy.  If you do that with Backpage and Eros, you'll come across quite a few who hare reviewed and reasonably priced.  (Fewer on Backpage, so be prepared to do some research.)  I've never had a problem getting someone the day of, so I'd go ahead and try that approach.  Quite a few listed in TER ads as well, with the added bonus of reviews linked to the ads.

A recommendation from you means a lot.

My normal MO is to cross-reference anyone from EROS with TER and check reviews.  Life is full of risk, and I prefer to minimize it as much as possible

Then of course there is the question of whether I am attracted to her pics or not.....  Sorry ladies, but after doing this for a while, I prefer to actually want to ravish you ... not just get the deed done.  Unfortunately for me (and my wallet), the longer I do this, the higher my standards become
