Anyone else had a problem with Raynah.  Set everything up including renting an expensive hotel room, champagne, perfume, flowers.  I check in and text her with the room number and she texts back that she has car troubles and can't make the gig.  I say take a cab and she says too far.  Cost me about $350 for nothing.

There are lots of comments in her reviews about her alleged "car troubles" and other no show problems.

Beware.  For OC, make her come to your house.  For IC, be prepared for a last minute excuse.

Sorry to hear about your problem, but a bit surprised you did not know about Raynah.  She is the most complained about no-show on the Boston board.

At the same time, guys who have seen her say she is worth the risk/hassel of cancellation.

TER has a new policy of no negative comments in reply to a girls Ad post.  I think there are some problems with this policy, but that's the way it is.

You give good advice at the end of your post.  Personally I have never done OC.  I usually have a backup plan for IC, or at least some errands to do in the direction I am driving to.

I have never understood guys who go the romantic nine-yards for someone they have never met – champagne, perfume, etc. Actually, I don't understand folks who do that for providers they have met. It sounds way too much like a girlfriend. It's a fantasy that is almost guaranteed to bite you in the ass.

Wouldn't you like to meet someone first and find out what they are like? Some providers erect lots of sensible barriers. You can have the best time with them by respecting their limits. Some don't drink. And, btw, perfume is an incredibly personal choice. How could you possibly know whether a provider even likes perfume, and if so, what kind.

What the hell! There are lots of different people in the hobby looking for different things. Personally I'd save the champagne and perfume for a friend. I'd pay a woman for great sex. Hope things go better next time.

it has been my experience that it is rare with an established lady that they will not be a no-show (some are ALWAYS late. I think it's a woman thing) .

Most of the ladies value their reputation and will go out of their way to make an appointment.

Yeah, I'm kind of a greenhorn when it comes to the hobby.  I guess no-shows are the rule rather than the exception.  Lesson learned.

Yeah, the "romantic nine yards" thing is a bit contrived but isn't that what this is all about...the creation of a brief fantasy?   Admittedly, I wasn't completely comfortable with the gifting.  I'm not an experienced hobbyist but I read all of her reviews and it seemed that (when she does show up), Raynah puts a lot of personal zest into the meeting.  I felt that, as the (paid) recipient of that "zest", I could do my part.  Kind of a misplaced respect thing, I guess.

As for the perfume, I'll defend that decision.  The answer is "my kind" (Hypnotic Poison by Dior - love it).  After the meeting, she can wash it off and leave the bottle on the vanity.

I am obviously pist about being stood up.  Very inconsiderate.  She had several other options that would have avoided the hard feelings.  Piss poor business practice but I guess that's really the class of people we are dealing with here, isn't it.  Lesson learned.

Yeah, you're probably right.  Makes sense.  Just my luck to pick the one that feels she doesn't have to be courteous and/or professional.

Seems like you have a big heart but you lack judgement and timing.

Always a good idea to be guarded On first date and not go over the top with flowers wine etc unless you are a fool.

But you are right in this class of women it's difficult to find class.

Why don't you try after dark, Boston international, Bella donna. For day time jill has 3-4 girls who are better than raynah.

She sure seems to have lots of car problems,  though she had different "excuses" when she NCNS'd me.....twice.

This is why I don't really do OCs: NCNS would completely screw things up for my schedule because I take half-days or reschedule work-related things and a NCNS means I could have kept said plans and not taken time off or a half-day.  I don't have a quota or anything in regards to those as HR/Payroll consider me a consultant and I run my own business part-time now, but still.

ICs for me unless an OC actually works as I would be at a certain place for a little while.

I completely agree with you (if you're a VIP member, do PM me; I was a "newbie" once).

Don't get too down honestly.  There are several ladies from several agencies (The Bella Donna, Boston International, Room Service Girls - never called Jill, but I plan on it one day, heh), that would love the effort you're putting into a session.

Give an incall session a try and ease your way into the hobby that way.
