Do you do DATY comfortably or do you worry it’ll bring something home? To me it’s such an important part of GFE and I feel the experience is not complete without it. But I wonder how risky it is. Would appreciate some thoughts.

Great question. Has anyone had issues ever bringing anything home?  DATY or BBBJ? Always worry but never an issue. FS  always practice will full protection.

... did I hesitate when the provider said 'well you take your chances' when ia asked about DATY  !!  seriously, i get it- I love to DATY and will alway do it if given the opportunity- guess it depends how she looks when she opens her legs- nice and trim and fresh?  very likely will be just fine- poorly groomed and smells fishy?  hey, lets try doggie !!

It’s damn near impossible to get something from DATY. If she had obvious visible sores, that’s a different story.

As someone with a significant other, I’ve never worried about catching something from DATY.  But there is always that risk.  It’s the old risk and reward.  
I do bbfs and bbbj with providers.  
As a side note though I always practice safe sex with my girlfriend. It isn’t due to STi but rather because she can not use any other birth control besides contraception male or female condoms.
