I'm curious as to where you look for ads? Where you don't look?  

What do you look for that stands out?  

I've always thought if I only advertise on site that generally bring me the type of client I'd like to see hat I will be fine, but with so very many sites out there and my not being a hobbyist but rather a provider that I don't really know where you guys look.  

I get asked frequently if my pictures are real (probably because I blur out my face), so where do you guys look for a reliable place to look?

Pretty much in this order:
 - DC message boards
 - TER ad boards
 - Backpage

The latter with a very healthy dose of skepticism.  I've always hated Eros for some reason, so it's not ever included.  There are other boards I peruse occasionally, but mostly just for gossip or whatever.

I'm mostly looking for providers who are providing incalls in the areas I'm interested in.

Any ad I see has its pictures (and provider's sites, if she has one) fed through Google Image search (much more reliable than TinEye now.)   Phone numbers are fed through Teh Google as well.  It's always amusing when someone posts an ad and uses a phone number they've used to sell, say, a Jeep Wrangler on Craigslist a few weeks earlier.

When I see ads and sites, I look for:
 - Not boilerplate
 - Some personality, but not TOO precious (Maple Brooks is an example of this.   After a first session, I might want to dive into a site like that and all of it's kitchsy cutesy glory... but for making a first appointment, I just want to get the details: get a feel for who you are and see pictures, contact info and maybe a calendar.)

To start with somewhat of a broad generalization...  In the hobby, I've observed that there are two general price points.  There's the $300 and up world and the lower priced world that generally has prices in the $150 to $250 range.  My budget puts me into the lower price group, and although I have some favorite providers who I meet over and over, I like to meet new providers.  Lastly, I generally schedule for the same day.  Note that I think many of the reviewers on the site are in the $300 and up range and plan ahead more, so they likely have a very different process.

For me it's like this.

I look first on RoomServiceGirls.com because they bring great talent at an affordable price.  If I can see one of my favorites there like Charlotte (my very favorite) of Daphne or Sarah then I'm all set.  My only issue with Room Service is that their geographic sweet spot is more north and west of what is most convenient for me.

I then will take a look on BostonAsianDolls.com who are on the more expensive side of my price range, but I've had some great experiences with them and see a lot of their talent.

I do have some favorites in the more expensive group (like Angel Exotic), and will sometimes try.

Then I look at backpage.  There's a lot of crap out there, but it's usually easy to tell.  I usually take a quick glance and then search by town.  If I find a favorite, great...  Otherwise I'll see if something catches my eye and will google the number to hopefully find a review here on TER, or alternatively start to convince myself that it's a legit ad (which often takes weeks).

If I can't find a connection through these methods, I either give up, drive to providence for a spa or strip club.

Like I said, my process is likely to be different than many other people.

Lets face it 250 plus an hour is a good amount of cash.
I look at quite a few ads, a few boards, when I get the chance to book a date.

I'm not worried about looks as much as skills on the reviews.

I expect to pay 300, and end up avoiding the duds as a result.  

Have recently been lucky enough to find excellent providers at 250 as well.
