I have a question for you all. Do you really ever look at the banner page on Ladies websites? If so do you ever decide to see someone else instead of the Lady who's website you saw the banner on?

Ladies feel free to chime in as well.

Jill:)

I look occasionally-mostly when I'm on the road and exploring options. I have actually contacted a lady once or twice based on her banner ad on another gal's site.  It's not the norm for me however.

Of course on YOUR site I look at all the pretty ladies.

with high risk providers or websites. I bypass them as I don't want to take any unnecessary risks. I do pay attention to banners and links.
Remember the old saying, "careful of the company you keep"?

As a provider, I try to be careful of who I add and who I don't for the exact reason mentioned above: "Be careful the company you keep". I would hate to be affiliated with someone using completely bogus pictures or copied text from someone else's ads or site, as it could very well reflect poorly on me.

I do have a "Buyer Beware" warning on my links page however. I haven't met every girl and can't personally vouch for all of them. Besides, I'd rather you booked with me! ;)

I go to an agency's or lady's site I am there with a purpose so I don't usually notice the "links" page. I've been visiting your ladies for a few years and I just went to your site to even notice you had a page for them :-)

Most of us OTR ('over or on-the-radar') providers are over-saturated as it is.  I don't need an additional banner on another lady's site.

When I see banners I find it to be a distraction from the "brand" of the provider housing them and I rarely click on them.
Then again, I don't have a penis and I'm not shopping or buying so my opinion may be moot here.

I do think that "Doubles" pages are useful for independent providers so that clients may know who a provider has at her disposal should he wish her to bring along a girlfriend...
But the association of certain behaviors or proclivities that providers can be come to known for can be burdensome which is why I haven't yet placed a permanent marker for that sort of thing on my website yet despite enjoying other women.

I prefer word-of-mouth endorsements.
When I cannot be available, when my clients want to try something new or when I fear my relationship with a client is growing overly comfortable/stale because we see each other too often I recommend providers and services with whom I am friends or acquainted with via reference checks and who have a reputation for a service comparable to or better than mine.
I think that the circle-of-trust works better than any cold banner page could.  I've received clients who said they saw me purely on your word Jill, I send a number of my clients to you and Holly and other independents.

With all of that being said, even if I had a banner page I wouldn't fret over the possibility of clients choosing another over me.
I want the client who is interested in me, who I am and what I offer specifically , not necessarily immediate convenience.
Anyone who has an interest in me which draws them to my website long enough to peruse each page will ultimately see me- be it this week or six months from now after he's seen others who've caught his eye...and there is no sense of urgency on my part.

Luv You Jill : )

I always thought the idea of the banner page was to: 1)generate click-through advertising income, OR 2) create as many links as possible to your site from outside in an effort to increase Google search rank.
You may not be concerned with either one.

I think banners are just promo's for the lady's friends, and as such do not say much about their looks and performance, etc...

I think they're a waste of space, really.

I have looked at then just once in a while... Have never made a decision based on them. I have a question... does the hosting page does not have control of them?

Tony
