Providers' reactions?

Diane Sawyer wanted to insist that these girls
where all f'd up. Some were, but this sure
didn't describe my experiences by going mostly
thru TER. This has been a positive experience
for the most part. Guess that there will always
be a stigma even to providers who are legitimate
and not all druggies and streetwalkers.
And forget brothels, outrageously expensive!
Or am I being naive, and this goes on even
with the seemingly clean, pleasant indie and
agency providers on TER in that they are just good at hiding the negatives?

Like any other aspect or experience in life, it is what you make it.
The level at which you choose to put yourself at, and to some  what you are also capable of is different for each.
The way I conduct myself with my Gentlemen is vastly different than anyone else would. We are all different people with different views, and this aspect of life is like any other in that respect.
Before I got into this as a business, I too had a preconcieved idea of whats what. Not shady or bad, just a great deal different than what i know it to be now.
I have found it so pleasant, the men I have been fortunate to be aquainted with and spend time with. I thought it would be maybe less personal also. But I even surprised myself.
It is almost impossible to ask someone who has not walked in your shoes to see things as you do. and Even then they still are not you, so they will see maybe some of what you see but not all in your unique view.

I think it depends on your attitude going in! It is impossible not to have some preconceived notions, but you entered into this with an open mind, and soon realized that your preconceived notions were mostly false. On the other hand, remember that rant by that girl from Denver? If you can believe everything she said, she became a very popular and successful escort, but I think she went into it thinking all the negative preconceptions she had were true, and that colored her attitude about everything that happened to her. If you do that, you will ignore the good things and obsess too much on the bad things! Attitude is everything!

I thought there would be a lot more chatter on the board about this agenda driven show. By far, the smartest woman was the high end provider who's profile was shaded. No matter how hard she tried, Sawyer couldn't get this woman to admit that her life was tragic. It seems to me that the main "tragedy" we saw here was drug addiction, not the hobby. I'd love to hear from providers who saw this program.
