I have been  searching for sometime now trying to find a provider that is good with couples in the RI area for my boyfriend and I. I have had little success. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

You should take a look at Velvet Starr and Queeny. They love couples and are very interactive. I put  a review up for them when I saw them a couple of months ago.
