I've notice more women are now at $400 hr or more than ever before. I'm also seeing more and more providers requiring at least 1 1/2 to 2hr for a visit.  
I love the hobby but it's really getting hard justify the dollars vs. time. I understand costs have probably risen for the providers but Man I'm getting bummed out about the rates!!!

The girls can ask for whatever the hell they want as long as their volume remains where they want it and can maintain. They increase prices and minimum hours because there are a lot of men who are happy to pay it. If they can't sustain themselves, rates will go back down. In the meantime.. come see me. :P

Rising, the rates have been failing since 2010.  Back in 2008 you couldn't get a Boston girl to walk across the street for under 400 bucks. Very few of New England providers haven't already slashed their rates.  Yet the cost of advertising has doubled every year, and the cost of hotels and travel and memberships to all the boards and website's we use, keep rising in cost.   Many of us travel to Boston over a hour each way, so we require a 2 hour booking, and those doing incalls in Boston are paying almost 300 bucks a night for a hotel.    Everything in Boston costs more and many clients will drive a hour each way to save a couple hundred bucks......  Yes there are tons of high volume girls charging outrageously low rates, but of course they don't provide the same experience.

. I understand "Boston" girls costs are much higher and may be going up so their rates have to go up as well? But the ladies I do see in the burbs under 300 all seem to say things are slow. Several have even lowered or have "specials" to try and get more calls.

Hotels are expensive advertising went up just about all venues.

I know all this is the cost of doing business, its like any business, and this is a business... the cost trickles down to the customer,consumer or in this case client.
we try not to increase to the point of being difficult but everything else has gone up. Have you purchased a gallon of milk lately? OMG its outrageous but we still buy milk.
this is a luxury not a need. Its like playing luxury taxes. Its not cheap.
I broke my ankle and was out of work for 2 weeks Had the flu last yr and was out for 3 weeks Theres no insurance if we cant work.  
For some reason I think some ppl don't look at what we do like every other business on an income level. They think if we raise our rates, we're just being greedy.  
Theres no job security no guarantees. Its a short run you will only do this so long.
Its dangerous and illegal. So Yes it pays well.
the going average rate in the Boston market is between 300-400 hr  there are some higher and some lower but look at the top 100 local providers they average $350 its just the way it is.

One of the local agencies I use raised their rates so I'm using them less.  Another local agency I use has held steady so I'm using them more.
