I feel it is more important for ladies that tour as to know if it will be worth their time. If I see an ad for a lady on tour to our area, I will prebook. If I wake up and want a date that day, I just look to see who is available and send PM. I'm always in the mood.

I never have the slightest idea when or if I am going to be free, or even in the same state or country from one week to another, so I never prebook. Yes, I do have to miss out on a lot of quality ladies that I would otherwise love to see, but in the same way I value my own time, so do I value the time of others. I am NOT going to develop a reputation as a flake, which would undoubtedly happen if I were to start booking sessions well in advance as I'd most likely have to cancel half of them.
I am sure that living in a city the size of Boston, you should have no problems booking on shorter notice. What might help is to get prescreened, if you have built a reputation of NOT being a flake, many providers might be more than happy to prescreen you and then kind of play it by ear if your schedules are able to mesh. Obviously if you have a reputation as a time waster they won't want to be bothered.
Being a glamourpuss who lives at a bit of a distance from her incall, I always need a bit of time to prepare, but if you're pre-screened with me, you can hit me up when the mood arises and often I'll be at my incall with gaps in my schedule. I would recommend finding a lady you like and then contacting her in advance to ask if you can be pre-screened to allow for more spontaneity. Good luck!

The only lady I've ever wanted to prebook with is Vanessa Fontaine--and living with family as I do, I can't host. One day.
Otherwise, I visit with Boston International probably once a week. Last time I had a less than amazing session was 2013.
