Rt 1 has many nice hotels and Peabody is usually safe. Unfortunately the problem is this, with girls leaving agencies to go Indy combined with the agencies that replace those girls and suddenly you literally can have 5-6 girls working is the same spot. Add back page and a traveler and it's now a brothel.

Peabody has a "human trafficking unit". Doesn't sound like yesterday had anything to do with that unit ( ie maid/hotel notified vs sting) but they do have a specific unit.  This past February it was in the newspaper almost 2 dozen men etc..... from a scheduled sting. Maybe not the best place with an in state ID. If the hotel called once they will call again..... be careful out there!

The 70' tall Mr Peanut sign....think it was called The Dollar Bar?? In the 80's Mayor Torrigian cracked it down and the owner of The Golden Banana (F. DiBella) fought it all the way to the US Supreme Court under a Freedom of Expression defense that allowed only the Banana & The Cabaret to stay in business as strip clubs w/ full nudity. The rest of it was wiped out. There was a whole legal shit show when he sold it, but that's another story.
