Ah, for the good old days of the Naked I (666 Washington St.). Karen always tried to have great costumes and a scripted performance and not just a boring stripper costume to peel off over the course of 4 songs. Karen's "trademark" was the vampire performance, complete with fangs. Towards the end of the last song she would bite on the fake blood capsules and red liquid would slowly drip down over her nekkid body.

People were trying to get the building at 666 Wash declared a historic landmark (NOT because the Naked I was there; it really had some important architectural historic significance.) Soon after it was forced to close, the owners were quick to tear down the building and put up a parking lot so injunctions and appeals would be pointless. After that came further construction of a big building.
