The stock market has taken a real dive and impacted personal finances.  Has it affected your business / hobbying?  What have you seen?

Not so much the markets, although the losses in my accounts are mounting.  It is more that credit is stalled.  My business is in trouble, and I may have to curb some of my hobby activities.

well i have to say that business is good for me so far. as for hobbying i have cut back alot. filling the oil drum for the house this year has cost me more $$$. which means less spending on the hobby. not to put a damper on things but from what i have been told it is going to get even worse for people this winter. i am holding on for now and plan to hopfully see some great gals this holiday season but i will have to wait and see how things go. hang in there ladies and gents.

It means I might have to start picking up civvies in the bar and pretend I'm hobbying.
Damn, they're just no good in the sack. Next thing I know I'll be scouring CLES for men who provide.

Anyone who doesn't realize the severity of the situation, hasn't been paying attention.

The crisis will take the global economies with it.  The Bailout Plan isn't about letting the CEOs & stockholders get a free ride.  Its about stabilizing our everyday world.

I'm scare to death.  Not looking forward to today.  Its likely to be worse than yesterday in the stock market if they don't pass a bailout bill.

Consider this.  Once you yell fire in a movie theatre, its almost impossible to regain control of the panicked crowd.

If the "crowd" panics this week, it might be too late for the bailout bill.

I'm in Manhattan this week and I thought, "Kiddo, your timing couldn't be worse. The market is tanking and it's the High Holidays."

Thankfully, I was thinking incorrectly. Business has been very good. Seems stress relief with Anneke is what the doctor ordered.

I do what I can to keep my boys in a better frame of mind.

Smiles,
Anneke
