with the new TER i cannot get on the discussion boards as i use too with my blackberry,do i need to download an app or something?

There should be a link towards the bottom of the mobile version that says something like:

View full site.

Clicking that on an iPhone just brings you to the full site vs. the mobile.

This app does not access the discussion boards, it really only helps if you are submitting a review on the road. . .

I hope this changes at some point. . . . .

i use to use regular TER online with my blackberry until the new TER came abroad,now it wont let you access the discussion board.

Ok.. I have a similar problem on mine. Basically, with the new TER, there is a menu with the local boards that pop up when you hover the mouse over the discussion boards tab. My phone browser doesn't support that feature, so I cannot directly access the regional boards. If this is the same problem you are having, then I kind of found a way around it. I got to the My TER tab, and then My Message Boards, then click on one of my posts on the board I want to go to, and from the message itself I click on Back to Forum.

Not very practical, but kind of works.
