Odds are she does know who Dick Fosbury was, since he was a high jumper who invented the style of clearing the bar by launching himself going backwards into the pit. He was not a pole vaulter. Unfortunately, I don't think there are too many double entandres to go with a high jumper though.

I would assume that she has mastered the straddle technique.
