I just read my current reviews, and I can't believe that I got an 'ok if you're drunk' for my looks!!!  Would you guys out there consider a woman who is 5'8" and 135 pounds to be a 'big-boned' girl?  My smile got insulted... wow!!!  To the guys out there who have met me, most of you comment on how you love my smile  I suppose that beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Anywho, I think I'm in shock... my image of an 'ok if you're drunk' is much different than how I personally view myself!

other reviews he's a very hard grader.  He's given ladies who would take the averge man's breath away low grades like he did to you.  The smart hobbyist will discount that review or parts of it and come see you based on the many other fine ones you've received.

You are a gorgeous woman, I can't imagine a normal male human would think anything to the contrary.  Please excuse the insane ramblings of an obvious lunatic, and stay gorgeous, like always.

Ugly, homely, she scared me, & OK if you're drunk, all seem to be geared to smear the provider.  If she wasn't your cup of tea, would not "plain" descibe her.

However, if you wish to inflict some pain or embarrassment, one of the four I mentioned would serve your purpose.

Perhaps TER might consider limiting the options.
As always, my $.02, which on my hourly rate would  equal about a half hour.

I get upset myself..and my friends calm me down..make me look at the big picture and forget about the nutcases..It was said I am flabby, saggy, plain, homely..it's not fair or true..but let's forget about them and keep on smiling...

I've seen women who were knockouts get low marks. Nobody pays attention to a couple of bad reviews. You women need to start a "Rate the Clients" thread.

Every good provider in this business knows that when you get a bad review you call attention to it. This way people will go look at it and see all your other wonderful reviews. Thus reaching an audience you might not have before. Leading to new clientel, repeats of old clientel (who forgot about you), and more reads on the board.
Now, this might not have been what you were trying to accomplish. But you did it without knowing it and brought yourself a ton of new business. Congrats on your phone ringing more often.

This post is not in the least meant to be  sarcastic. Simply what we realize as the Butterfly Effect.

I have seen Grace a few times, and to give her anything less than a 7 for her appearance is a huge disservice, not just to her, but to the rest of the community.  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but only to a certain degree. I could easily see someone giving her a 9 or even a 10 if her physical attributes coincide with their preferences. And I could see someone giving her a 7, if they prefer, say, a brunette with dark eyes and rail thin. But a case like this is obviously not a true picture of you Grace, and anybody who reads your reviews will see this aberation for what it is, and probably disregard the entire review. So don't let this get you down. I, for one, have always been more than satisfied with your physical appearance whenever I have seen you.

I'm picky and I thought Grace was really cute. And a great youthful body to boot.
I recommend that TER throw out the worst review for each girl, there is always some creep who doesn't like anything.

I don't know you or what you look like but I think the best thing you could do with your post was supply a link to your web site or reviews.  Since it wasn't provided it makes those of us who don't know you wonder what is really happening here.  Your thougths please.

Think back to Woody Allen's "Annie Hall"  In it, Diane Keaton keeps ragging on Woody how he's not as great as her last boy friend, but when Woody finally bumps into him, Woody is appalled and calls him a homunculin (The homunculin was Wally Shawn.)

So to each their own.  One person god (or goddess) is another's shlub.

I honestly was not offended by receiving such low marks in my appearance, just rather shocked.  It's really kind of funny, just a couple of weeks ago, I was a 9 in appearance, and nothing has really dramatically changed about me... I'm not wearing my summer clothes anymore... perhaps that could be the root of the problem!

TER is an interesting place.  If the review that says that I am ok when you're drunk was posted about 2 months ago, my business would have been seriously hurt because I wouldn't have had the bulk of good reviews that showcase that I am a quality provider.  

By the way, thank you so much guys and ladies, for your input and for standing up for me.  I know that plenty of other quality girls have gone through the same kind of criticism, but it is true that the intelligent gentlemen know how to find us

I must agree with you capedude on this one. Grace, or whoever you are, dont get overly concerned over a review like that when someone makes an assinine comment like the one you cite. I have said on occasion in my five years around the boards that I think sometimes some guys, and on occasion a lady or two, take themselves to serious. I say that for two reasons...

Ladies...how many of you as a child while playing with your barbie dolls were thinking "Gee, I cant wait to grow up and be a hooker." I am sure your mothers werent planning on answering the question "what is your daughter doing now" with the answer, "oh, she is a high priced call girl". Now, this is not a put down on the ladies at all. But lets face it, we wont find any info on any of you at the Better Business Bureau or local Chamber of Commerce.

And guys, what do we do. Most of us CHEAT on our wives, give gifts to other women that if we gave them to our wives might result in more of what we go searching elsewhere for, at home. I say that because it is my belief from what I have seen the ladies post that probably fifty percent of their clients are married men. And based on some of the horror stories I have read, some of us even spend money hobbying that puts our families in a position of not having money they should have.

Now, to address the comment about she looked good if you are drunk. Who are we. I am old, 62, fat by some standards, or obese by medical standards, with a rapidly receding hair line, gray. Many of us are bald. Not the most attractive guys in the world yet we have the audacity to make a comment about the ladies looks. Most of us cant get what we pay to have with these ladies anywhere else, either at home or with the drunkest, scuzziest bar fly going. And you know what guys?? Some of us are NO DAMN GOOD in bed, in spite of what we think or fantasize about.

Wizard of Oz syndrome?? When the curtain is torn away, there we sit...the little guy behind the big machine...highly insignicant compared to how we come across.

Some of you are probably saying, OMR WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? Well, dont know and dont really care. As a hobbyist, I am very insignificant compared to most of you. No track record, etc. I do enjoy a reasonable amount of respect on both sides of the line, or at least up to now anyway. The last time I voiced this opinion I got royally trashed on another board by some very high level hobbyists and one Nationally known lady, who by the way, I respect all of them. As I said in a post below regarding alias, I am who I am and I make no apologies for it. Maybe I should have hid behind an alias on this post, but I wont.

You see, my goal with a lady is very simple. All I want to hear from her after our apointment, no matter how it went was.."Hey, that OMR is a great guy and a gentleman". Now if they want to add "and ladies, he sucks in bed but he is a gentleman", I can handle that.

Folks, this is a bit more than .02 cents worth, but so be it....Play safe, enjoy each other, and treat each other with respect.....OMR

I hope that in my original post, I did not come across as being shallow or conceited because that is far from the truth.  My original post was written purely out of shock because my mental image of a woman who deserves that kind of a rating is very vivid and undesirable.  I just wouldn't put myself into that category.  

I am a woman who does not post any pictures of myself due to safety concerns.  

I understand that a guy is taking a gamble when he decides to meet me due to my lack of pictures.  I also understand that there are specific physical attributes that one guy may be attracted to and another may not be.  I ALWAYS give the option for a guy to say, "Hey, Grace, you're just not my type..."  I would honestly not take offense if someone said that to me, although no one has ever taken that route after meeting me in person.

I believe that the guy who found me to be unattractive should have just said that he wasn't interested and continue his search to find a girl who fit his personal preferences.  Instead, he followed through, and he did enjoy my service, and I appreciate the good things that he said about me, although, I also do find some of his other comments to be disrespectful to me.

That was my review.  Is it my fault that TER gives such mean sounding tags to their ratings?  We have a 1-10 scale to pick from.  I look at the numbers, not the wording of what they are supposed to "mean." In my opinion, the ratings should be a strict 1-10 with no attached text.  I am a hard grader.  Somebody needs to be.  For the most part, the reviews on this site are much too lenient.  Everybody gets a 7-10.  Dont be insulted.  There are obviously lots of guys out there who find you very attractive.  The average guy would kill to have one of every ten girls find him worthy of their time.    Heck, look at me.  I'm old and overweight!   I'll give myself a 3 if it makes you feel better.

The reality is that, barring the money we spend, few of the ladies here would give few of us men here the time of day.

On the other hand, the fact that we are paying to receive a service makes reviews -- and the need to make associated judgments and distinctions -- valid and useful.

But we should all strive to provide useful information without trashing a woman's feelings and self-esteem.  Sure, escorts need to have a bit of a thick skin to survive.  But there's really no excuse for being mean...

One thing to keep in mind regarding the "5'8" and 135 pounds" thing is that some men these days have very distorted views about womens body types.
Some guys seem to feel that unless a woman has abs, a waif like body and a 12 year old boy butt she is "big boned". I woudn't let it bother you because some dude has warped ideals about a womans body.

He did say "She's also considerably larger than I like" so that's his opinion, wich he is entitled to.
But it's important to realize that he is somewhat of a freak regarding his views on bodytypes so you can't really let it bother you.

For the record, I'm not old, and into bodybuilding and in decent shape.
Grace is not rubenesque or big boned or whatever.
She has a beautiful thin yet curvy body.

And a nice smile...

I read through all of the comments and while I agree with most, there is a point that seems to be missing. Taking the human emotion out of it for a moment, lets not forget that this "hobby" is actually a business in many respects. I know that no one wants to talk about that, however for the purposes of this discussion someone had to state the obvious.
Anyway, with anything in life where money is exchanged, the consumer has a right to hold a certain expectation as to the desired result. Many of us look closely at reviews for all sorts of things in life. Sometimes we agree, while other times I disagree. We all have different tastes, so the review is entirely in the eye of the beholder.

Personally, when I read the reviews I look first to see if the person has the basic stats that I am interested. Second, I see if they come through as advertised. Finally, I look at what they are into or, more importantly, what is off limits. Without this system, we are all flying blind.
Lets face it, how many of us would blindly spend $300 or more on an item we know nothing about? Ladies, I know that you are far more than commodities, so I am sorry for the comparison.

For what it's worth, it won't stop me from seeing you when the opportunity arises!

You are right most escorts score 7-10 because that is what is needed to stay in the business, unless maybe...one has a special skill.  I think you have established (for yourself anyway)a more refined scale to distinguish among escorts...who are already the top 1% of the general population.

I'll agree w/ you. I find myself the same way and agree that this similar situation just recently happened to another provider and look what happened. Take it for what it was worth. I find many of times if I feel the same way and the girl was not that attractive, I just don't review b/c it causes such debate - like my tastes don't matter. Everyone has their own opinion. And sorry Grace, I will have to agree with Adjective.

Your rating system still doesn't make much sense to me....

You give yourself a 3, and you claim to be overweight and old.

You give me a 4, and I am in shape and young.  You also said in your review of me that I do have a pretty face.  Did you find my body to be completely awful?  I suppose that you don't like a little tits and ass on the menu!

I hope you realize that I'm not being mean, but I do have to stand up for myself when I receive a rating like what you gave me because I don't have pictures to prove your rating of a 4 to be wrong!
