I guess its a matter of drive time - closer is better because you have play time and round trip drive time. For us in NH even 93/495 can be a big chunk of time out of your day.

93/495 (Tewksbury/Andover) is best for me
Burlington, Woburn sometimes or 93/95 but more difficult
Boston - only if there is no choice. - prefer back bay.
Have gone metro-west

Some of it depends on time of day too...

When you see a gal is on tour or books an incall, what areas do you like/dislike the most?

I am fond of metro west and Back Bay.

Not so fond of the airport.

How about you.

Any provider thoughts are very welcome.

Back Bay, Water front, metro west and Burlington area are my favorate places.
Airport is my least, no parking.

I like the metro- west area best.  The Just north of Boston Just South of Boston least favorites.

Least favorite:  Airport, Financial District, Back Bay (altho for the right provider I've been know to go there)

Favorite:  South Shore, Metro West or anywhere on 128 from Braintree to Waltham

Like the metro west area, Waltham, Burlington Area are OK.

Not to wild about Back Bay, (parking)

Financial District have not problem with (Work in the area). Nothing nicer that taking a long lunch and having some fun.

But since I don't know where she is I'd say my favorite place is back bay but I live in that area so that's not surprising.  I am surprised at how many people don't like the back bay.  It makes sense though given that not everyone lives in the city.

Sorry but going into the city ruins any pleasure I could get from a lovely lady.
NW burbs for me, Tewk to Walth in general work best.
JMO because you asked.

I have very recently moved to the area, and so far I like the suburbs. Anything from Burlington down to Waltham/Newton is fine. Some nice and busy hotels (great for discretion), yet easily available parking. I don't mind Natick, Framingham, or Tewksbury either.

I yet have to venture into the city for hobbying just because of parking, although that is probably going to change because of the lady two posts above this :D

But since LE is no-doubt re-assigning all of their vice officers to the lobbies of all back bay hotels as we speak I am going to have to re-think that...

Would you please clarify?  Was this uptick in LE activity something recent?

Sadly, this response is part of the problem...gr

Come one guys

Do you really think that the Boston Police are going to shut down all their drug operations and other investigations and park a 100 or so officers in hotel lobbies looking for John's.

Please guys it's good to be safe, but there's a point were it get out of hand. And this is it.

Of course not, that was a bit of sarcasm. My point however, that some topics are not fit for a VERY public board, is not.  Craig's List is gone, back page will be next. Don't be naive enough to think that only hobbyists and providers read this board.  The difference between now and a few years ago is that hotels are being put on the spot with unwanted media coverage.  They are working internally to identify suspicious activity and they are cooperating with LE.

Northern suburbs is first choice, metrowest is okay.

Still go into Boston anyway, and will do other things along the way in or out such as visiting a strip club or two for lunch or dinner.

South Shore and Dedham/Norwood areas are best followed by Waltham and then Burlington.

Although I feel more relaxed going into the big hotels downtown it's a pain in the ass getting in there, parking (and paying for it) and getting out so I rarely go in there.

or just outside like Dorchester, Cambridge Somerville. A place with parking

Some of it depends on time of day too...

1. financial downtown
2.theatre district
3.backbay

I don't care about the location too much as long as the hotel is busy. Standing out in a nearly empty hotel gives me the creeps.
