A little history from me. I have only been to a few providers in the States and 3 were PS, Miko lee, Mimi Miyagi, and Cumisha so I guess I am a bit baffled by all the talk of pre-screening and LE ect. I am from Boston but lived in Phucket Thailand for 3 years and had scores of "providers" there. Very little if any worry of LE there. It is just an accepted part of the local economy. So please educate me on the dangers in the U.S. What % of hobbyists have actually been busted when using a well reviewed provider from TER. I mean I know there is risk just like there is a risk in driving my car but I don't worry about it every time I get behind the wheel. Any Thoughts
First, pre-screening is for the provider, to make sure you are not LE. Their risk from LE is much greater than yours. I assume you know this, but the way your question was worded made me want to be sure.
I don't think anyone will be able to give you a % or any other precise measure of your risk from LE. We assume in practice that the risk in visiting a reviewed TER provider is extremely low. It is always possible that she has been busted earlier in the day and is now being used by the police to embarrass a few hobbyists (i.e. "johns"). Apparently this does happen, but what are the chances that it will happen to you? I would say extremely low. Also, providers who have been around a while know how to protect themselves and avoid unwanted attention.
So while hobbying is definitely not "an accepted part of the local economy" in the US, if you are seeing a known provider at your place or at her big city hotel room, your risk is probably very low. If it's a private incall, a small town, a cheap motel, the risk could be higher.
Don't forget that we also screen so that we reduce the risk of getting hurt, beat, robbed, raped or worse from a client. If a girl has a big burly driver deliver her to the door and he sits outside, a guy probably will not try anything...but most guys might get a little distracted by that (especially the GFE'ers...).
I am not as concerned about sizing up and dealing with LE as I am about getting hurt.
Of course you are right. I should have pointed that out for completeness. Unfortunately for them, I don't think the girls in Thailand (where the OP has spend some time) get to do that kind of screening. Thanks.
Thanks. I guess I did not phrase my question correctly. i certainly have no problem with a certain amount of pre-screening. For the protection of the provider it only makes sense and in the long run in benefits us all. My only question was about the chances of LE problems. It seems to me if you use a well reviewed provider and have her come to your hotel room in an upscale hotel your chances of meeting up with LE would be rather remote.
LE generally targets the ladies here in the states, they don't generally go after the "johns" - except in the case of street walkers. So I would venture to say that in general it is unlikely you would run into trouble with LE while seeing a well reviewed lady. But as others have said, anything is possible.
