I don't know the answer to your question, but it seems weird to me. My first thought is that if you're friends, you'd know how to contact her. If you're only 'business associates', I'm wondering if she really wants to conduct business while she's staying in her hometown. Some who tour or travel don't mix business with home and real world friends and don't need anyone popping out of the woodwork or train station with a big Hello! waving a bigger envelope.

Just my thought from over here on the sidelines.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with her?  I'm heading to her hometown this week and really wanted to see her while I'm there.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Why not call or email Mya at BI?
