hello..

I've used the window washer program ($39.95)from webroot software for over a year now and highly recommend it.  Here's a link..
http://www.webroot.com/wb/products/windowwasher/index.php

You can download the software or buy it at CompUSA, MicroCenter, etc.  It gets rid of temporary files that are left behind even after using the delete files/history options under explorer. I also use their spyware software...

good luck!

No problem...  I'm not aware of any other steps you can take yourself using Internet Explorer.  If you do decide to use window washer or another program of that type I would suggest hiding or renaming the program folder to avoid any questions about why you would need to have it..  Likewise don't have the program create any icon on your startup screen or Quick Launch toolbar...

The product that scares me is the keylogger.  It records everything you type and can even send a discrete email with that information.  Keyloggers can be physical-- a small additional connector attached between your computer and the cable leading from your keyboard for example.. or it can be a software program installed without your knowledge which can track your activities.  I recently upgraded to Norton AntiVirus 2004 and noticed that it supposedly has protection against keyloggers but I couldn't find out any detailed information on how it does this..  Maybe someone else out there knows more??
