I recently arranged an appointment with a provider whom I have seen previously, and favorably reviewed. It appears the phone number provided to me, which I thought was a direct line for texting the provider, was in fact, a line to a scheduler/business manager. When I texted to this line, I always addressed the provider by name. The scheduler NEVER TOLD ME he/she was not the provider. Since I had a previously met this provider, i believed it was reasonable, under the circumstances, to believe I was addressing her.

I waited at the location for an hour and a half, texting by name, the person I thought was the provider. To my surprise, two other providers show up. I've never met either one. I ask where is the woman I was supposed to meet. The provider "in charge" told me she was on her period, and the other woman was my "substitute". I politely gathered my things and left. I paid (pre arranged) for the room, and left a tip for the maid. At least it wasn't huge bucks

My question is, how do I review this encounter?  The provider I THOUGHT I was meeting wasn't there. I don't even know if she knew I made an appointment to see her. I don't want to be unfair, but I think other hobbyists should be warned about this bait and switch.

you can't write a review on her.

But this post is a good start to let the guys know that, this ladies booking agent is putting a Bait and Switch.
Also you are going to reveal the name of the lady in question, if you want to make this post truly helpful.

Without a name the post is useless.

Just my .02 cents in the matter

i literally hired this chick i had been friends with for a while (always a mistake) even in my auto response it stated i have a booker my booker will get back to you she knew she was booking through my email account and saw it every day and then low and behold she was acting like she was me and i had no idea! people kept saying i thought i was talking to you when i booked and after so many saying the same thing i was like wtf man they can't all be that stupid i even had it in my ads i have a booker yep she totally was making me look like i was crazy! i fired her immediately but man some bitches are so crazy!

it sucks because you hate to screw the chick in case she has no idea what's going on but you are totally right to be upset

are you allowed by TeR rules to post the name of the "booker"? It is just good business to tell a customer who you are dealing with.

You made an appt with LadyA.

The person that showed up was LadyB, a bait and switch.

Your details make it sound like LadyA may be innocent and never knew about what happened but that's because she chooses to book thru that Agency.  A B&S review of LadyA warns us and it also warns her to tell her booker to either say she's not available and not to B&S a replacement or to change bookers.

If the TER powers that be say otherwise, I think you can post some of the specifics here

glyyyven can only tell us about the booker from his experience.  Why not call the booker and see what she wants to do to fix this?  You have her number  :-) .  The booker may have been trying to be helpful, in addition to being a profiteer.  But that is what they do...remember the tale of the frog and the scorpion.

Was the second girl that ugly?

Why should he, he didn't book her!!  I would disagree. If you book Lady A then you should get Lady A. If the booker is sending a substitute then you should be told ahead of time ( before you have secured a room,if that is the case.)  and you should be told if you are dealing with a booker. Not only did the booker do wrong by him, they also screwed the 2 ladies that showed up. They got nothing!!
This hobby deal works both ways. !!

Hey DT,

Good questions. Let me address them.

There are a couple reasons I don't call the booker. First, she/he was deceitful to me. I would have considered a replacement, IF she told me about it up front. By sending a girl blindly, the way he did, she assumed I would just pay, either though pressure or guilt. I find this to be a particularly nasty way of doing business. It leaves me in the position of having to tell a woman who made the effort to travel to me that I don't find her a suitable provider. I didn't say that, though. I said I made a deal with LadyA. LadyA isn't here, so we don't have a deal. I don't know you, and I'm sorry, but I'm leaving. I should have been told up front.

Second, as a practical matter, how does she make it right?  Refund the room fee?  Fat chance. Discount on future appointment. He already lied to me. Do I take the chance again?

Lastly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Since I'm not reviewing the lady in question, I won't comment on her appearance. Let's say she wasn't my cup of tea.

BTW, frog and scorpion?  Don't know it. If you think it's helpful, please let me know.

First, I ignore some of the unnecessary details and focus on

1. Made appt with LadyA
2. Met a B&S LadyB but rejected her as B&S

The review I propose is of LadyA, not LadyB. LadyA, innocently or not, is a willing participant in a B&S scheme, agency, whatever.  That's on her, LadyA.  If she doesn't want to be a part of scamming customers she should find another booker / agency.

Book LadyA; LadyA sends in LadyB.  LadyA could be in the hallway laughing her ass off. LadyA could be in the lobby or car.  LadyA could be home sick in bed and not know what's going on.  LadyA is still a part of this.

Glyyyven had a legit appt with LadyA (makes LadyA reviewable).

LadyB B&S shows up. Glyyyven realizes, Aha! I've been B&S'd by LadyA (or the organization with which LadyA is associated).

He had an appt with LadyA; LadyA delivered a B&S; tell it to the world!

LadyB and booker are participants but not reviewable

What I understand:
glyyyven sees lady A thru booker and has a good time.  Writes review, deal done.  Maybe he did not know a booker was involved

glyyyven wants to see A again, communicates by text only.  Booker accompanies a different girl to his outcall.  glyyyven sends them away.

Without knowing either girl or the booker, this is what I conclude:

The booker was deceptive but may have had good intentions.  Girl B may have been much better than girl A.  glyyyven did not give B a chance and apparently there was no attempt to resolve the problem with any "plan B" (pun not planned)

glyyyven could have avoided the problem by calling instead of texting only.

Shit happens in this business and I can never understand why a guy would rent a room for outcall.  I have never done outcall, never will.  I can't have an escort at home, and my work does not put me in hotels...but this is digressing.

So glyyyven loses the cost of the hotel, mostly his own fault/inexperience as I see it.  And the girls go unpaid for their time/travel.  They are not happy and probably won't answer glyyven's texts anymore.

I think several opportunities [to save the situation] were missed.  Hopefully some lessons learned from the dicsussion.

Hi DT

I think you have some important facts wrong.

Using Lady A and B scenario...

I see Lady A by contacting Lady A directly.  At least I believe I'm contacting her directly.  The voice may or may not have been her.  I really don't remember.  She tells me she prefers that I text instead of call after we meet. That is why I texted.

I disagree about the bookers "good intentions"  Throughout the entire texting, I addressed her by name.  So, "Hi Lady A, do you have any time tonight?"  "Lady A, I'm here."  etc. ...  The booker KNEW I thought I was talking to Lady A.  Not only was the booker deceptive, she had BAD intentions.  She did NOT want to propose a solution.  If she did, she would have told me upfront.  She was trying to push someone I didn't ask for on me.  She left me in the unenviable position of refusing Lady B.

I don't care whether the booker thinks Lady B was better than Lady A.  I liked A.  I had a great experience with her.  I did not want B.  As I mentioned in a previous response to you, she was not my "type".

As far as resolutions to the problem, please see my prior response to your prior posting asking that question.  I would add that resolution requires good faith by both parties.  I saw no good faith on the bookers part.

I'm not sweating the cost of the hotel room.  As you correctly point out, that's a life lesson.  What would have bothered me would be losing the donation to a girl I didn't want.  (I almost always get 2 hours)

I appreciate your analysis.  You forced me to look at this in a different way.  AFTER I met Lady A she told me to text her going forward.  The booker probably told her to do this because I would notice the voice difference on an ongoing basis.  Lady A didn't tell me I would be texting with a booker.  Based on my understanding, this may be a common practice, but it is still deceptive.  Especially when I refer to Lady A by name, as I did, and the booker didn't identify herself.  So...Lady A may not be as unknowing as I originally thought.

Thank you for helping me see this differently.  Just what I was looking for.

Thank you, all for your thoughtful consideration. I admit I'm still torn. I have a real aversion to saying negative things about anyone under unfair circumstances. I think we all can relate to that.

I do have a follow up question. I hope some providers will share their thoughts with me on this one.

Assume you, a provider, hire a booking agent. You don't know what this agent says or does on your behalf. However, hobbyists don't know they AREN'T talking to you. Are you, as a provider, responsible for the things the booking agent says and does, on your behalf?  Would you consider it unfair to be reviewed under the circumstances I laid out in my original post?

Any help appreciated.

I read a couple of your reviews and I think you say, 'This is my second review of ...".  Just so you know (and for others who don't know), you can certainly submit a new review of someone that you have reviewed before but (1) your new review will REPLACE your earlier review and (2) you only get VIP credit ONCE, for the first review of any given provider.

If there is important info in your FIRST review, be sure to include it if it's important and don't assume that new readers of the SECOND review will know about it or have saved or read every chapter
