Interesting post...I'll play along.  I'm going to stray from the original question though and go through my routine.

When I'm preparing for a date I keep in mind the time and preparation my girl is putting in to be beautiful for me.  Don't over do it with colognes.  Use small amounts of good smelling things all over your body and in different, out of the ordinary, places.  Your preparing for a hot sexy time and not a job interview.

1. Take a long hot shower with plenty of scrubbing of every inch of my body with deodorant soap and then a body wash like axe.  I use a facecloth to work all that good smell in and bad smell off.

2. Post shower I trim the nails, shave, trim nose/ear hair and pubic hair.

3. I use a little deodorant between my legs and under my balls.  I also use hand cream or baby oil on my ass.

4. Dress sharp in clean clothes!  A little style goes a long way.  Why would I wear t-shirts and jeans when she is decked out in sexy lingerie?

5. One last little spurt of a body spray on my clothes.  Spray it in the air and walk through.

The end result is a squeaky clean and great smelling guy.

Yes we all take a shower and put on a cologne,after shave and deoderant.But what about the dick.You have been pissing( after drinking all that coffee or beer)and now it is time to go up and see her,what do you do?
I usually carry small water bottle and when I go to hotels lobby restroom use that water to clean the head.Very rarely have I excused myself when I am in company of the girl to go use her bathroom(why waste precious/expensive time)

Medical Note. You can hold your orgasm for a longer time if your urinary tract are empty.

Uncircumcised dicks seem to carry it more than circumsised.  Its the smell that occurs when you guys have been driving around in your car all day or looking at porn and pre-cumming and it sits in the folds of the skin.  
OR if you tend to sweat and it lingers under your sac or between your ass.

I can have guys get into the shower, spend 10 minutes there and still come out with that funny smell because they haven't let the hot water permeate the region, soaped, rinsed and dried.

I mean most girls can ignore it, some can be bitchy about it and give a YMMV session...me: I go to the bathroom, draw out a warm washcloth, put some antibacterial soap on it, rinse and proceed to clean my guest to my liking.  Some guys get uncomfortable at first like "what, is something wrong?" but most relax and enjoy being taken care of knowing that I'm more likely to devour them whole if I like the taste.

Water alone doesn't clean the scent of urine, wetness and sweat away rkaslow-if you're really concerned carry a little pack of antibacterial wetwipes in the trunk of your car and rinse them with hot water in the lobby bathroom (especially if you're determined not to 'waste expensive time').

Please do not jump to conclusion and please do not blush or get red with anger.I am all for cleanliness baby.There is so much I could have written in the post without deviating from the main issue.
1)I do clean thoroughly before I leave my home or office and yes that includes my dick, my arse and my balls.I brush my teeth too and try not have any meals atleast a few hours before my session to avoid any kind of smell
2)If I have an hour session I almost always leave within 45-50 minutes as usually I only fuck once and leave the lady alone.That precious /expensive time was for my well endowed young friends

Your post was honest and I liked that-if you were a bad guy you would do like some and say "to hell with what they think, for $$$ per hour they can deal with a little bit of sweat."

I love my job, generally can't get enough and when I do...I disappear for a while until I'm ready for it again.

Don't hate on wet wipes either :).  I think they're soothing and refreshing and terrific for a 'touch up' (although obviously they aren't a substitute for bathing).

Showers 8 or 12 hrs earlier just don't cut it...So, yes, you are correct....

But wipes afterward instead of a warm washcloth, is just insulting, imho.....

I go to the gym and hit the showers. Wash and clean every square inch. Baby powder but not too much and none on the boys, a little on the neck. Girls love the smell of baby powder, don't ask me why. Then I'm at the door in about 20 min. If the lady would like me to wash again then
I do.

thats why I love whirlpools or jacuzzis in the room if possible if not take a shower with the boy so he smells good tell him it really turns you on to get hot and lathered who can say no to that? smelly isnt for me either Im not that way and dont want someone to be that way! It has happened the smellies unnoticed till they take their clothes off lol!

Speaking of scent.....I once had a client that wore a cologne called Acqua Di Gio  by  Giorgio Armani, Oh my.......I loved the smell!  Its such an aphrodisiac!!!!   mmmmmmm   meow! ;)  

Sometimes, I like to wear  Love Spell by Victoria's Secret, for some reason men love it!  Dont know why.....they say it is an aphrodisiac, a turn on!

(Usually I just shower with a nice scented soap called Caress.)  Nice, clean smell. :)

My question is....do men like women that wear perfume?  What if they dont have time to shower and have to return home to their wives?

On the subject of cleaning up.....my only thought is, I wish more men would wash the penis after urinating.  Its such a turn off, and its so hard to say to a man, gosh, could you please wash up?  Also, same applies after wearing a condom and then wanting oral, I love oral, but I dont like the taste of spermicide in my mouth.   lol  Just my two cents.

Lisa, I have had ladies that actually prepare for that during a session as they do not like the taste either.  Usually wipes and a warm wet cloth kept at the bed side for changes during the session.  They have gotten very good at keeping the mood flowing and pleasing their pallet.  I have learned a lot about how some put fore thought into keeping a warm cloth around during two and three hour sessions without having to go to the bathroom to get them, very nice job by them.

Oh...so many points to hit and so early in the morning.

I loved meeting you. Your supper hot and relaxed and I just had a fantastic time with you. Can any of you guys get over how tight this woman’s body is?

Studies were done on Baby powder and colognes on women and Baby powder supposedly has an effect on women because the fragrance somehow stimulates there maternal instincts and thus the desire for having sex.

I love that same cologne by Armani. I just came across it but I have to kill of one or two bottle from my current stash first. I'll try to have it next time!

Personally I love a woman to wear a fragrance. Some really get me going others not so much but yes there is a concern when you carry another scent on you. That why I like to meet on cigar night :-)

I like to shower with soap when I arrive and just before I leave.  I don't know about the rest of you, but stinky privates is a big turn-off for me -- and I expect it would be for my host as well.  Nothing like being clean.
