Read an "alias" review today, and not sure what to think.

Have read some comments on the GD board about alias reviews and did not think much about them.

Today I was checking a local girl of interest and she has a "new" alias review.  It is also the best of her reviews.

I don't understand why someone would write an alias review unless they had bad things to say, and did not want any blowback.  This review was all good comments and nothing bad?

Any and all comments welcome.  I personaly don't trust an alias review, but would like to hear any arguments for and/or against.

maybe the intent was to avoid any history of reviews, good or bad. Sometimes providers read about us and check previous reviews...it's possible that the reviewer just doesn't want ANY tracks that may give away identity or likes / dislikes.....
maybe he tells his chosen girls he has never heard of TER or tells them that this his first trip to a hostess.
Maybe he has something special with an ATF and tells her he doesn't visit any others but he just can't resist the chance to kiss & tell.

Maybe it's just what you think- a shill

1)Some guys don't want the girl to know they reviewed them (good or bad reviews)

2)Some guys don't want their board persona connected to reviews.

3)Some providers know a guy's personal info & will out a guy. Alias review is a defense against that.

4)Some guys I'm sure will misuse the alias to either shill for, or shit on a girl.

5)Some guys are paranoid and just want to be anonymous (more guys are likely to write reviews with the new alias feature)

Keep in mind that a member has to be VIP and have some TER history to write an alias review. I think it's a good feature.

I have been seeing him for quite sometime so I was surprized he used an alias and asked him why. He mentioned he regularly reads the boards but never wants a "connection" by posting or reviewing. I know he has seen other woman over the years and only twice he has left reviews. He said he wrote one on me because he felt so many of my reviews "miss out" on the comfort level when you have an ATF and wanted to share that expereinece after wonderful afternoon. I always feel "if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all" but respect the need for gents to share their own expereince by reviewing. (Though if they only knew the really good expereinces that arent shared publicly :) I appreciated his generous words alias or not, and I know who he is which is most important.

I think alias reviews are absolute junk.  I always check a reviewers history, because a guy that gives every girl he sees a bad review isn't going to be happy no matter what I do, and I feel like that information is something that we deserve to have about a potential client.

Alias reviews prevent us from being able to do all of the screening that we should be able to.  I like to know the types of experiences that my clients have had before and enjoyed, and those little things that make them unhappy.  This is bad for both sides.

Jumping off my soapbox now, cause it's tax day and I'm being bad....

A guy meets a hot lady, she asks him about his reviews.  She says "well, you must think I'M a 10/10, right?"

He says he doesn't write reviews any more, and blows it off at that.  Perhaps she's got his personal info and he's afraid of the backlash, so he doesn't review her.

Later, he meets a girl who literally blows him away in both departments.  NOW, if he writes a 10/10 review, the first lady will adopt a pissy disposition toward him.

Don't think that can't happen.  It did.  In the case of the second lady, the way to have gone would be to write an alias review.
