Sorry to inject levity here but since the Bosox last won the World Series in 1918, they've appeared in the Fall Classic 4 times and have lost each Series in 7 games.
Now that is brutal!

Perhaps, unknowingly, ColHogan was being kind.  
Ruth was sold for cash so the Bosox owner could finance the "No No Nanette" broadway play. Talk about priorities!  ;-)

The sox sold ruth because they were in financial distress
the boston red sox always had bad management thats because the big wigs up top called all the plays they never wanted to give the managers full control

I am well aware of the truth
and every year the sox put on a good show and fizzle out
not they are holding on to try to get the wild card
The redsox will never catch the yankees

and i dont want to hear that yankees but the series ect.....

Because the redsox had the highest paid team salery last year and the year before
