I have a gentleman flying in to see me at the end of the month.  I am looking for a restaurant in Boston that is dimly lit with seating that is private enough that all eyes won't be on us.  This individual is a public figure and while I can appreciate that room service is probably the best option...I want it to be our last option.  Thanks for your time and help.  💋

There are certainly better options but Clio is small reservation only and very intimate dining.
The food is top notch great valet service and just a sweet experience

Whenever I've been out with a known public figure of some type always restaurants with private dining is best option and never ever had a problem. Strega Waterfront has a wonderful private dining room as well as Del Frisco's. Pm me if you need more suggestions. Good luck;)

My suggestions would be Grotto or No. 9 Park (word of mouth from co-workers)

but again I haven't dined in Boston in about 20 years.

It's the old Boston City Hall.  Ask to be seated in the vault - really!

Steaks are great

I have written every place down and I will be checking every place out next week in preparation for what I hope is a memorable evening with a sexy politician

Loved Menton and maybe it was just the luck of where we sat, but I felt a lot of eyes on me. Maybe could request something more off to the side.
