He told me the following in a text message:

1. Congratulations to Boston!

2. You people should smoke all your cigars now, cuz you won't need any next year!!!  

3. LA still won cuz Paul Pierce is from Inglewood.

4. At least we have better providers!!  Ha!!!!

I have thought about this...and checked all our old posts on this topic....

You guys never accepted the bet!  

And I was never able to get a group of guys and a provider(s) to take part!  I tried!!!  Really, I did!  I was hoping to make this more fun for all of us!

I felt like you guys didn't really believe in the Celtics for the most part - even after the first two wins at home it still felt like you guys were not yet totally convinced your team was gonna pull it off.  

Then after the huge win in LA in Game 4 the series was pretty much over - the Lakers were just emotionally destroyed with that win and were self destructing and being ripped apart physically on the boards.

But, that said, I never was able to get enough of a fun grudge match going to turn it into a TER bout between our boards!

There was, however, one LA provider who turned into a huge Lakers fan on the LA board...i figured she might be a perfect provider to travel there if you won.

I was thinking she would have to show up wearing a Celtics Girl outfit!  And then when you guys visited her she would have to yell out things like, "Take it to the hole big man!!"

Maybe we can get her to do it - if you guys are into it.

If you want, I'll send her an email and see if she's willing to make the trip.

Celtics fans like being on top!

In LA, we like it on top, on the bottom, and from all angles!!!!      

Oh well, I guess everybody will have to come to LA.

Both that visit and that are local. If i want an overpriced pornstar i will go to New York or South Beach. Other than that those that know me know that i feel Toronto and Montreal are the gold mines of the Hobby. If i dont go there i go to the farm system for boston you guessed it Rhode Island found quite a few diamonds in the rough. I have found one or two ruff ruff cough upsellers but for the most part i am happy with those i have chosen to spend my time and money on. Variety is the spice of life but just be smart with the money you dont pay less for a bad time

I was waiting for you guys to accept the bet and then I'd try to put her up against a Boston provider and have the losing board pay for the provider to fly to the winning city to meet some new guys!

I didn't really understand all that you wrote, but I totally agree that Beantown has some awesome ladies!!!

I was just trying to mess around a little and have fun trying to get TER into something besides advertisements on these boards by seeing if we could have a little LA-Boston skirmish on the boards as well as in the arenas!!!

I always was.  See, you just can't go wrong being a Laker fan.  Oh well.

Oh yes you can.  The lakers will always be number 2.  Please tell me how you can't go wrong?  This I have to hear......
