Well like the topic suggests, hypothetically speaking, what is the general market for a male escort?

And I don't mean like a "Chippendales Dancer" type, I mean the run-of-the-mill typical, pretty good looking guy.

No, I don't plan on escorting (sorry ladies); however, I am curious simply because I really haven't heard about any.

There are male escorts.  I have spoken with a very nice attorney from Washington, DC who shared his experiences about working his way through law school by 'entertaining' Washington socialites.

While it was fun, he said it got old because some of these women were cold.  He would accompany them to functions and then f--- their brains out.  He said they knew just what they wanted and how they wanted it (gotta love us old broads) but that when it was over he was paid and basically told to get lost.  

So while male escorting is similar to female escorting it could be a challenge to be on your game if business was brisk.  That said, I don't think there is a very good market in our area.  A well educated studley man might have a shot in a large anonymous city such as DC, Chicago, or LA.

I used to go to Amsterdam and Copenhagen on business and was often approached by younger men asking if I "wanted company".  Since this was always near the Red Light District and porn stores I assume they were compensated companions.  They were all too young for me and  if I had any interest in screwing around I could find a nice mature Euro businessman in a fine suit hanging out at the Ritz Carlton bar.  The kids that approached me on the street were well under 30 and who knows if they were IV drug users.

I did something highly unusual last eve and chose to visit a slightly younger European gentleman over hosting an older gentleman (HUGE exception for me).  He was purely a 'business date' but if he were a male escort and there were more guys like him, I'd become a female hobbyist for sure.  He was classy, charming, well traveled and interesting and the accent killed me.  Of course it helped that he had a thing for older women.  I'd love to pimp his sweet ass.
